    Welcome. Event starts at 14:00.

Geneve-Servette have a two-goal advantage, but SaiPa Lappeenranta have home-ice advantage. They were shut out in game one, but you can be sure SaiPa will be attacking hard right from the start in game two.

You can find out how to watch it and all other CHL games today here

We are just 30 minutes from the opening faceoff in three arenas in Finland. While Lukko has a commanding 5-1 lead heading into their home game, IFK and Fribourg square all even while SaiPa chases a two goal deficit.

Who will come out on top? Let us know on social media, using the #CHL hashtag.

    Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku

Lukko Rauma won 1st leg 5-1 and fans expect them to advance easily. Lukko is 1st in finnish league, TPS on 9th position. Last time TPS won in Rauma was in January 2013.

    HIFK – Fribourg

First leg ended 2-2 so the winner of the game will advance to next stage. In the domestic leagues HIFK stands at seventh place and Fribourg-Gottéron at eleventh place.

HIFK's captain Toni Söderholm and forward Joonas Rask returned to squad after being absent in the first leg.

    Géneve-Servette – SaiPa

Geneve won the first leg in front of 5214 spectators 2-0 after two goals of Kevin Romy. He scored 6 goals in the Champions hockey league so far, added another 10 in the NLA, swiss top competition.

First three games in Finland started.
    SaiPa – Géneve-Servette 1:1

Not even 3 minutes in the first period and we've seen two goals. Sam Löfquist made it 1:0 in the powerplay, but Chris Rivera equalized shortly after that. Brian Salcido of Geneve feeded him with a terrible error and Rivera had an easy job.

    SaiPa – Géneve-Servette 1:1

Brian Salcido fo Geneve was close to compensate his fault, but he hit the post!

Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku 0:2

Two quick poweplay goals by TPS make it more interesting! Aggregate score is now 5:3 for Rauma, but TPS is much more closer to their success than before game. Cramo Top Scorer of TPS Ryan Lasch scored first goal, Radek Smolenak added second.

TPS Turku have recently replaced head coach Kai Suikkanen with Miika Elomo and it seems to be a smart move.
    HIFK – Fribourg 0:1

Sweet pass by Springer and nice deke by Christian Dube opens score in Helsinki. Aggregate score is now 3-2 for IFK.

    SaiPa – Géneve-Servette 2:1

Johan Larsson shoots it from the blueline and Sami Venalainen directs the puck from the air past Bays. 2:1 for SaiPa, but Genéve-Servette still has the lead in aggregate 3:2.

All three games in the 1st intermission. Well, it seems SaiPa and TPS who has been down after 1st leg still feels they could advance, third game in Helsinki is even more tight. Let us know about your opinion on twitter, use #CHL hashtag.

16-3, that is the ratio of shots on goal in the game SaiPa – Geneve. Christophe Bays in Servette's net, who moved to Geneve from Lausanne this summer, became cornerstone of his team.
    IFK Helsinki – Fribourg-Gotteron 1:1

Game is tied in 32th minute when Jase Ikonen did a good stickhandling job deep into the offensive zone. Aggregate score 3:3!

    SaiPa Lappeenranta – Genève-Servette 3:1

And this serie is also tied 3:3 at this moment, Matti Jarvinen scored with a rebound.

Penalty shot for HIFK, but Partanen failed to score. Good save by Fribourg's goalie Conz.

    Skellefteå – Jyväskylä

Nicklas Burstrom and Sebastian AHO are missing in Skellefteå defense, Mikko Viitanen and Antti Jaatinen are absent for JyP Jyväskylä. First leg's score was 5:4 for Jyväskylä, but Skellefteå managed to came back from 1:5 and nothing is clear for the revenge. Game starts in a few seconds.

All three games in Finland are in the second intermission.

    SaiPa Lappeenranta – Genève-Servette 3:1 – agg. 3:3
    IFK Helsinki – Fribourg-Gotteron 1:1 – agg. 3:3
    Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku 0:2 – agg. 5:3.

Skellefteå – Jyväskylä and Linköping – Sparta starts at 19:00 CET, don't forget you can watch them live.
    Linköping – Sparta 0:1

And it took only 97 seconds for Jaroslav Hlinka to even the aggregate score to 2:2. Hlinka is really well known in Linköping, he spent four seasons here between 2008-2012.

Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku 1:2

Shorthanded goal for Lukko Rauma early in the third period. Olli Sipiläinen is a well known shorthanded goals specialist, he is on the top of the list of all active Liiga players in career shorthanded goals with 11. After his goal, aggregate score is 6:3 for Rauma.

Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku 2:3

Goal explosion in Rauma. Just few seconds after Sipiläinen's goal Radek Smolenak adds his second goal of the night after a pass of Cramo top scorer Ryan Lasch, but another 31 seconds and Ville Vahalahti scores for TPS on the breakaway. 7:4 aggregate score.
    Skellefteå – Jyväskylä 0:1

Markus Hannikainen scores from the right wing, aggregate score is now 4:6. Another troubles comes with a need of replacement of home goalie Svensson, who seems to be injured and Erik Hanses comes in.

    Vienna Capitals – Kärpät Oulu

Albert Schulz Eishalle in Vienna will see an effort from home side to recover after 1:3 loss in Finland. Vienna leads EBEL league, while Kärpät is fourth in Liiga. Capitals miss Jessiman and MacArthur in their roster, sidelined is also Simon Suoranta of Kärpät

    SaiPa Lappeenranta – Genève-Servette 3:1

SaiPa goes closer to the quarterfinals when Jane Tavi scores at 51:53. 4:3 on aggregate now.

Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku 3:3

Aaron Gagon, Lukko's Cramo Top Scorer, scores his 4th CHL goal and it seems that 10 minutes in the third period it's almost impossible for TPS to advance, as aggregate score is 8:4 now.
Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku 3:4

But is't not over yet in Rauma. Ryan Lash scored his fourth point tonight!

    HIFK – Fribourg-Gotteron 2:1

Jasse Ikonen scored in 57th minute, Fribourg plays with an empty net in the last minute to avoid elimination.

    SaiPa Lappeenranta – Genève-Servette 4:1

Two minutes to go, 4:3 on aggregate for home side!

Lukko Rauma – TPS Turku 3:4 final score

Final score of tonight's game is good for TPS, but aggregate score 8:5 says that Lukko Rauma is another Finnish club to advance to quarterfinals.

    Salzburg – Luleå 3:0

It's been a blast in Salzburg, three goals in 11 minutes by Raffl, Beach and Beach again makes Luleå to change their goalie, as aggregate score is 7:2 at this moment. Daniel Larsson is replaced by Lassinantti.
    SaiPa – Genève-Servette

10 minutes overtime still in progress, here is the goal of Rod which lead to the overtime.

    SaiPa Lappeenranta – Genève-Servette 4:2 after overtime

This series goes to overtime. Goalie saves 21 Markkanen, 40 Bays.

CHL uses 5 player shootout, let's see who will gets to the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Salzburg – Lulea 4:1 after the first period, 8:3 on aggregate, Vienna Capitals – Kärpät Oulu 0:0 after first period, 1:3 on agg.

Three games are over so far and three Finnish teams advances to the quarterfinals:

    IFK Helsinky
    Lukko Rauma
    SaiPa Lappeenranta

    Skellefteå – Jyväskylä 1:1

Andrew Calof equalizes the game in the second period. Ottawa born Calof seems to be a great signing this summer for Skellefteå's management. He spent four years playinf university hockey for Princeton university, hasn't been drafted to NHL, but now he's a top scorer for Skellefteå in Swedish elite division with 17 points in 18 games. It's also interesting, that 9 out of 10 top scorers of SEL aren't Swedes.

    Linköping – Sparta 0:1

We're still tied 2:2 in aggregate after 2nd period. Sparta was close to second goal, but puck remained on the goal line after rebound of Lukas Cingel. But there has been a good chances for Linköping as well.

    Frölunda – Tappara 2:0

Last game of the night is played in Gothenburg. Frolunda won the first game 5:1 and now leads 2:0 after goals by Johnson and Widerström to have 7:1 aggregate lead. It's much to discuss about the result of this series, but we could watch close if Andreas Johnsson will take over his mate Mathis Olimb in overall standings of Cramo Top Scorer. Both are now with 20 points, Johnsson is ahead with more goals.

Vienna Capitals – Kärpät Oulu 0:1

Aggregate score is now 1:4 as Juho Keranen opens the score hear the halftime mark.
But despite previous tweets, "mince meat" from Luleå is able to score. Stephen Dixon and then Per Ledin scores to make it 4:3, aggregate score is 8:5. Let's see Ledin's goal:

    Salzburg – Luleå 4:4

And It's 4:4 in Salzburg, aggregate score 8:6. This should be a wake-up call for Red Bull. Fogstrom scores his second goal tonight.
    Skellefteå – Jyväskylä 1:2

What a speed by Jani Tuppurainen. And precious shot. 1:2 for JyP, 7:5 on aggregate for Finnish side.
    Salzburg – Luleå 4:5

Luleå is just one goal shy of equalizing the series! Lennart Petrel scores fourth goal of his team in just 8 minutes and home coach Daniel Ratuschny takes a time-out. Will RBS be able to stop this momentum?

    Linköping – Sparta 1:1

And we have a goal in Linköping, which moves home side to the quarterfinals, but there is still more than 12 minutes left to play. Jonas Junland scores his first goal of the season.
    Salzburg – Luleå 4:6

And the equalizing goal is here even before second intermission. Daniel Zaar's goal makes aggregated score tied at 8:8 and we will start from the scratch in the third period. Well, maybe you could't call it a start from the scratch when you team scores 5 goals in one period to recover from a horrible start.

RBS changes goalkeepers at 39:42, Niko Hovinen lost his trust by coach Ratuschny after two easy goals of Lulea and has been replaced even in the second period by Bruckler.

    Goals by Zaar and Petrel:

    Linköping – Sparta 1:2

Series tied again, now 3:3 after goal by Jan Piskacek at 51:16. Martin Reway's shot has been deflected and Piskacek manged to fint the puck quickly in the slot.
Linköping – Sparta 2:2, final score

That's cruel for Sparta! Linkoping scores deciding goal at 59:58, two seconds before game would go to overtime. Jakob Micfliker finds a loose puck after attempt from Taffe and he sends Linköping to the quarterfinals!

Vienna Capitals – Kärpät Oulu 1:3

Ivan Huml scores third goal, 6:2 for Kärpät on aggregate now.

    Skellefteå – Jyväskylä 3:2

What a night! Skellefteå, who lost 4:5 in Jyväskylä in the first leg and was down 1:2 few minutes ago, scored two goals playing with an extra attacker. They pulled goalie Erik Hanses at 56:41 and Oskar Sundqvist and Par Lindholm equalized the series at 7:7. That's something you see only in CHL!

This game also goes to overtime!
    Lindholm's goal here:

Linköping is the first Swedish team in the playoffs, Sparta as the only Czech club has been eliminated.

Here we have second goal by Daniel Zaar, his 6th in the CHL! Now it's Salzburg who is eliminated – they managed to waste 8:3 lead on aggregate...

Overtime with no goal in Skellefteå, we will see another penalty shootout of the night.
Skellefteå – Jyväskylä 4:2 after overtime

Mikko Lehtonen scored game winning shot in the fifth series. Skellefteå moes to quarterfinals after a thrilling finish, they managed to score two goals with pulled goalie and this bold move deserved them the bit of luck they needed in the penalty shootout.

    Frolunda – Tappara 4:2
