There indeed is the final buzzer, and in a thrilling encounter SKA Saint Petersburg have seen off HC Dinamo Minsk 3:2 to get back to winning ways! They had to work very hard though against a character filled Dinamo side. A second period three goal surge from Jimmie Ericsson, Artemiy Panarin and Ilya Kovalchuk saw SKA take the win, with Alexander Materukhin and Ryan Vesce replying for the visitors. Thanks for following the game with us, and see you again soon for more exciting KHL action! (19:59:58)

    60:00
    Game over.

    59:54
With icing after icing still coming, SKA are heading for a very nervy and tough 3:2 triumph on home ice!

    59:39
A couple of quick icings are committed by SKA as the puck rolls not far wide of the empty net at all! And now directly off a faceoff draw on the left Charles Linglet whips it in, and Evgeniy Ivannikov gets his body right behind that excellently!

    59:03
And goaltender Lars Haugen has now been swapped for the extra skater, it's Dinamo Minsk's last roll of the dice!

    58:09
Time is running away with us here as we're already into the final two minutes, SKA are so far controlling the game much better, not giving their opponents any time inside the attacking zone at all!

    56:12
Kablukov! Igor Makarov gets the better of his opponent on the right, he splays it across for the speeding Ilya Kablukov, but SKA's number 29 fails to take it under his spell!

    55:13
It promises to be a nervy few last minutes for SKA now! Conceding such a goal wasn't in their plans at all, and they have to tighten up defensively to see this one through!

    54:09
    Goal for Dinamo Minsk!
Now the Belorussians are back in business! RYAN VESCE winds up to the left of the point, and with Jonathan Cheechoo acting as a screen it flies into the net! Powerplay goal and it's 3:2! Assists- Matt Ellison

    53:41
Nick Bailen hanging back at the point opts for a high powerful slapshot, and Evgeniy Ivannikov grabs it very well despite it being at an awkward height!

    53:10
Dinamo have been handed an ideal chance to get back into things here! SKA defenceman Evgeniy Ryasensky has been punished for hooking, and it's a big opportunity for the visitors!

    51:37
Alexey Ponikarovskiy sweeps up the puck cutting on to the left faceoff circle, and his wrister is deflected up and out of play by a covering defenceman finally bringing about a slight pause, having gone minutes without one!

    49:58
We've got a Mexican wave flowing around the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace now, we haven't seen a stoppage at all for what already seems an age!

    47:13
Ketov! Dinamo get caught out defensively seeing Evgeniy Ketov move in free down the left wing, he draws his stick back for a fierce slapper, but the goalkeeper flashes leather wonderfully to deny him!

    45:01
Roman Cervenka of the hosts replies himself when wristing from a very tight angle on the right, and predictably Lars Haugen is able to field it and at the second attempt freeze

    43:49
Kalyuzhniy! Dinamo have had some promising openings today! Alexey Kalyuzhniy bullies his way to the doorstep coming off the right faceoff circle, and contrives to thump it wide glove side! SKA drew their breath during that episode!

    42:43
Alexander Kadeikin expertly strips his opponent of the puck just inside the attacking blue line, moves in, dishes to Alexey Ponikarovskiy but the latter fires wide of the left post! Dinamo's back line is looking shaky at times!

    41:43
Evgeniy Ivannikov blocker side holds confidently on to a pacy effort from distance. Apart from that soft goal against him earlier, he has looked very reliable overall!

    40:23
The third and deciding period is go! And as we get going Dinamo's Alexander Materukhin wrists in from the right faceoff circle, and Evgeniy Ivannikov has no trouble sticking it out wide
