		Hello and welcome to this KHL regular season match between SKA Saint Petersburg and HC Sibir Novosibirsk. This could turn out to be a very close game, with both looking strong this campaign.
		SKA despite being through a rough patch of form lately picked up a very important win against Metallurg Novokuznetsk on Monday 6:2, and now are only five points away from CSKA Moscow in second place of the Western Conference. Their opponents today Sibir have been brilliant in recent games, winning an incredible nine out of ten.
		Last season SKA made the Gagarin Cup quarter finals, as did Sibir.

	04:47	We're underway here inside the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace! It's been a quiet first few minutes here, with SKA seeing much more of the puck as you would expect
	05:21	Sergey Gimaev for Sibir tries his luck from the blue line, it travels through traffic, and SKA netminder Evgeniy Ivannikov pads it well out of danger
	06:16	Mikko Koskinen for Sibir takes up a dump into the slot from the right hand boards. Sibir had been rather weak at the beginning of the season with a new head coach having come in, but they have since been shocking some of the big guns, defeating Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Ak Bars by a combined score of 10:2
	07:10	Kalinin! What a chance to give SKA an early lead! Dmitriy Kalinin, completely open, is teed up on the left faceoff circle, and his fearsome slapper is beaten away by Mikko Koskinen's glove!
	08:01	Jonas Enlund spins around behind the net peeling down the left, feeds it across, and Jarno Koskiranta wrists into Evgeniy Ivannikov's grasp near post
	08:22	Goal for Sibir! Oh dear, what happened to Evgeniy Ivannikov there! DMITRIY MONYA winds up from just inside SKA's zone, and the netminder somehow lets it drift over his glove and in! It's 0:1! Assists- Viktor Bobrov
	10:23	That really was a poor mistake to make, and it's put SKA into another sticky situation! The team looks a bit in shock after conceding that goal!
	12:15	Goal for Sibir! Sibir are taking their chances expertly, and are now already two up! JONAS ENLUND moves into the attacking, zone, wrists sharply from the left faceoff circle, and catches the netminder unawares! It's 0:2! Assists- Renat Mamashev and Jarno Koskiranta
	12:15	And SKA head coach Vyacheslav Bykov has made a big change here, with Evgeniy Ivannikov being pulled for 18 year old Igor Shestyorkin! He had to do something!
	14:40	Ponikarovskiy! Panic is starting to creep into SKA's game! Alexey Ponikarovskiy bullies his way onto the slot from a tight angle on the left, a mass goalmouth scramble erupts, and Mikko Koskinen eventually manages to grab a hold of it!
	16:13	Icing is committed by SKA. The hosts are failing to get really in behind their opponents as yet, Sibir's game plan is working almost perfectly at the moment!
	16:55	Mikko Koskinen now freezes a thrown puck into his area from well outside the zone, and with attackers closing him down takes no chances
	17:27	We have the first penalty of the game and it's gone against the visitors, as for holding defenceman Konstantin Alekseev has been called
	18:10	And it has now become a five on three for SKA! For holding Sergey Gimaev has been punished, and it's a golden opportunity for SKA to get back into the game!
	19:44	SKA's powerplay isn't looking great however, and the first period is already in it's final seconds

	20:10	As we get going in the second stanza Sibir come back to full strength. They were rock solid during the first, and have to keep that form up!
	22:43	Goal for SKA! Now SKA finally have something to build on! ILYA KABLUKOV pulls to the left hand post from behind the net, thrashes it across, and it takes a wicked deflection off a Sibir defenceman before beating Mikko Koskinen! It's 1:2! Assists- Dmitriy Yudin and Alexey Ponikarovskiy
	23:40	Ermakov! It could have already been a tied game! Vadim Shipachyov after a wonderful dash lays it back to Andrey Ermakov at the point, and his point is kicked out of danger by the netminder!
	24:35	SKA have had their baloon burst here however! Swedish forward Tony Martensson has been called for hooking directly under the referee's nose, and Sibir have been gifted with a chance to take the initiative back!
	24:47	Goal for Sibir! And they have done just that! The puck is slapped into the crease from the blue line, and ALEXEY KOPEIKIN lurking in front of Igor Shestyorkin deflects it in! Powerplay goal and it's 1:3! Assists- Igor Ozhiganov and Renat Mamashev
	26:33	Shipachyov! SKA are having so many chances to really grab a foothold in the game! Vadim Shipachyov is all alone on the right faceoff circle, he slaps as hard as he can, and the puck thunders wide of the far post! The goalkeeper was already powerless!
	27:39	Igor Shestyorkin now confidently clings on to a wrister from the right flank. He will be disappointed to having already conceded, but he really couldn't have done an awful lot about that goal!
	28:11	Ilya Kovalchuk hangs behind the net, eventually looks to pick out Alexander Barabanov on the doorstep, and before it can get to the latter it's hit into Mikko Koskinen's pads
	29:09	Kovalchuk! He simply had to hit the net! Ilya Kovalchuk is slipped clean through one on one, goes five hole, and the netminder makes a brilliant save to deny him!
	30:17	Gubin! And now it's Sibir's turn to let a gaping opportunity slip them by! Oleg Gubin is teed up at the high slot, but he contrives to wrist wide of the right hand post with the whole goal to aim at!
	31:12	A penalty here has been called against Sibir, as their forward Viktor Bobrov has been handed a two minute minor for hooking
	31:51	Goal for SKA! What an important marker that could turn out to be! A quite beautiful flowing play picks out the free VADIM SHIPACHYOV at a tight angle on the right, and he wonderfully goes waterbottle on the goalkeeper! Powerplay goal and it's 2:3! Assists- Artemiy Panarin and Patrick Thoresen
	32:31	The Ice Palace took liftoff with that goal, SKA are right back into things now! However if they want to go on and take it, they have to tighten up at the back!
	33:19	Jimmie Ericsson pulls down the right wing, neatly lays it back for Andrey Kuteikin, and the big SKA defenceman has his backhander deflected up and over the bar
	33:41	Monya! Just like that it could have been a two goal difference again! The home defence goes missing as Dmitriy Monya speeds on the right on a two on one, wrists himself, and smacks the far post!
	34:07	Roman Rukavishnikov takes aim between the circles, hits it as hard as he can, and Mikko Koskinen watches it sail well over his crossbar
	36:31	The referee has his arm up again, and it's Sibir who have got a handy powerplay coming up, as SKA have been spotted for having too many men on the ice. Team captain Ilya Kovalchuk will sit this one out
	38:27	SKA looked more solid on that penalty kill and have five players back into the action again
	39:32	The second period is now drawing to a close, and it's setting up to be a pulsating third!

	42:14	Goal for SKA! There is that craved equaliser! Clever build up play ends with DMITRIY KALININ thumping in when charging to the left of the slot, and he beats Mikko Koskinen near post! Powerplay goal and it's 3:3! Assists- Roman Rukavishnikov and Roman Cervenka
	43:08	Patrick Thoresen on his emotions bursts directly down the middle, wrists with serious power between the circles, and to the home crowd's disappointment smashes into the boards behind the net!
	43:51	SKA's Igor Shestyorkin gets his first touch of the puck for a while, as he solidly covers up a dangerous looking backhander from just off the left faceoff circle
	45:24	Panarin! Artemiy Panarin takes a whack at the puck as it bobbles all around the face of goal but glove side Mikko Koskinen stands tall to get his body in the way!
	49:37	Monya! Dmitriy Monya breaks through the entire SKA defence, pulls to the right, backhands, and Igor Shestyorkin is alert with his pads!
	50:02	And SKA netminder Igor Shestyorkin makes another very professional save blocker side as the puck got slapped into his chest. He is looking very much on his game today!
	51:06	Voroshilo! Sibir have all of a sudden really taken the initiative! Artyom Voroshilo finds another hole in the home side's back line, and from a tight angle on the left fires into the netminder's legs!
	52:31	Goal for SKA! SKA have their first lead of the day, and it could be a very important one! Mikko Koskinen lets a huge rebound escape his pads, and falling over in mid air on the doorstep ILYA KOVALCHUK taps home! It's 4:3! Assists- Andrey Kuteikin
	54:02	Goal for SKA! Now the hosts are rolling! ANDREY KUTEIKIN picks up the puck just inside the blue line, and he absolutely thunders it high into the right hand corner! It's 5:3! Assists- Artemiy Panarin and Roman Cervenka
	55:01	Despite those two goals all the pressure is coming from the visitors! Young goaltender Igor Shestyrokin is making save after save from point blank range, his defence have to help him out!
	55:10	Sibir are seriously putting the heat on and as a result they've earned a timely powerplay for themselves, as SKA forward Jimmie Ericsson has been punished for interference
	56:11	Goal for Sibir! Sibir have certainly deserved that goal, and it's a real hockey game now! JONAS ENLUND expertly takes in a whack from the point, rounds Igor Shestyorkin, and backhands into the net! Powerplay goal and it's 5:4! Assists- Dmitriy Kugryshev and Patrik Hersley
	57:35	Koskiranta! The SKA defence just is not in the game at all! Jarno Koskiranta is allowed to crawl down to the danger zone on the right, wrists, but Igor Shestyorkin is not sleeping near post!
	59:01	With some sort of miracle the puck stays out of the SKA net, Igor Shestyorkin already laying on the ice somehow stopped that from going over the line!
	59:02	And Mikko Koskinen has now been swapped for the extra skater, Sibir are going all out with only a minute to go!
	59:40	A timeout has been taken by Sibir, the puck is stuck deep inside SKA's zone with just a few seconds to go!
	59:51	The final seconds are now upon us, and SKA are heading towards a thrilling 5:4 victory on home ice!

		Wow, just what a game that was, and eventually SKA Saint Petersburg have come out on top against HC Sibir Novosibirsk 5:4! They had to come back from two goals down twice, but showed some serious character to take the win. Ilya Kablukov, Vadim Shipachyov, Dmitriy Kalinin, Ilya Kovalchuk and Andrey Kuteikin netted their goals, whereas Dmitriy Monya and Jonas Enlund with a brace replied for Sibir.
