"It's hard to find the words. After the start we had, to have that kind of a finish, it was incredible! We scored three powerplay goals, and that helped us to win the game tonight," says Luleå coach Joakim Fagervall. "I never expect anything in hockey, but we had been in that situation before down 2-0 against Frölunda, so we were used to the situation. Today we had the power to turn it into a win! Our key was to never give up, we had been in that situation before in the CHL, and this team loves cup games!" (23:12:09)

"First of all, I want to congratulate Luleå on winning the game. But I think we played a really good game until the penalties in the third, and it spoilt the game for us. They turned it around. I think the five minute penalty had a big question mark over it. I think we outplayed them until that penalty", mentioned Frölunda Coach Roger Ronnberg after the game.

"It's amazing. We came back, and it's a great feeling to be champions of the CHL", exclaimed Dean Kukan of Luleå. "We said before the tournament that our goal was to win it, so it's really important for us!".

Chris Abbott "I just want to thank the fans, this one is for you tonight" he says, in a post match interview.
