    Hasek, Tembaum and Reichel are now behind Baskets 1, 2, and 3. Each group will have a team from each basket.
     
    "The '98 Olympics is probably the biggest accomplishment for everyone in that team" says Hasek, about the gold medal they won back in Nagano.
     
    Also helping to make the draw is perhaps the greatest goalie ice hockey has ever seen – and a local hero to boost – Dominik Hasek!

    After the draw has taken place, clubs will then meet with the other teams in their groups to discuss the logistics of travelling to each others' cities.
     
    CHL CEO Martin Baumann is now welcoming the guests and new clubs.

    Today is the day when the 48 teams that will compete in the 2015-16 CHL season are divided into 16 groups of 3. One team from each basket will end up in each group.

    The CHL Group Stage will begin on 20 August and end on 6 September. Each team will play 4 games – one home and one away against each of the other two teams in its group. The top two teams in each group will advance to the Playoff Stage.
