Welcome at second day of Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup 2015! The Bratislava´s group B continues with big game between USA and Russia. USA lost yesterday with Finland, so it needs to get points back with Russian rival! We can expect the great fight for each piece of ice.

USA started the Memorial with the game against Finland and was shocked in first period! "Suomi" scored four goals and decided about the whole match. Americans changed the goalkeepers and played different style of hockey in second and third period, but scored just one goal by Gettinger. Their semi-final´s chances are now lower, they can increase it by points from the game against Russia. "Our team needs to find way for next games from improved performance in second and third period. We were definitely playing better and need to continue in this way for all matches here,” said the American goalkeeper Dayton Rasmussen, who entered the first game after first intermission and saved 21 of 22 shots. We can expect his as the first goalie of USA in today´ s game!

Russia is a big favourite of this tournament. This team plays great hockey and destroy opponents by fast combinations in attacking zone. Russian won the first match against Slovakia 5:2, they didn´t have any big problem during the game. 5 goals scored 5 different players, what shows, that all Russian forwards and defenders are threat for opponent´ s goalie.

Good afternoon from Bratislava! In a few minutes, the third game of group B at Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup 2015 is going to be start. We are going to watch interesting game between Russia and USA! Russia won the first game and are on a good way to semi-finals, on the other hand, USA lost against Finland and need every one point now. We know rosters of team, you can now read it and prepare to our broadcast, which start at 14:00 CET.

Both teams at ice rink, Russia in white jerseys, America in dark blue jerseys.

We were listening to anthems of both teams, everything is ready for face-off. Have a nice sport´s experience!

We have the opening shot of the match, it was a wristshot by Peeke, Sukhachev saw the puck and held it in equipment.

3 on 1 breakaway for Russia! Ivanyuzhenkov got the puck from defender Eliot and came to the attacking zone, it was a suprise, that Russian forward didn´t pass the puck to line-mates, there was blocked inaccurate shot.

Russia is active and have puck in the offense zone, Kayumov tried the shot from the space between circles, he missed the net.

Nice individual breakaway from American forward Eliot! He skated through the right side of attacking zone and shot by backhend, Sukhachev in the first difficult save, but he made it and blocked the puck by pad!

USA had much better start of the game than yesterday with Russia. Americans are active and creating opportunities. Yamamoto had a space between circles and shot, it was blocked by defender.

We are watching the fast and attractive hockey performance from both sides. Now there was an attempt from Americans, Sukhachev caught the shot from neutral zone.

Attacks from both sides, but without any succeed, defenders of USA and Russia are really careful and didn´t make any big faults yet.

USA are at attacking zone, Yamamoto passed the puck to the middle on Harper, who was in a good position, but didn´t hit the puck properly.

USA power-play wasn´t well, Russia survived it and now is playing in full strenght.

Yamamoto shot from right circle wasn´t accurate, USA are losing the attacking zone and needs to start from Rasmussen.

Great defense play from Russian defender Gromov, he shot the puck through all lines, both teams are changing lines.

USA didn´t capitalize the second power-play, this is a pity for Americans. Russia is now in full strenght and want to score a first goal of match!

Nice brave attack by Geraskin, he skated into the attacking zone from the right side and tried it individually, Rasmussen with a great save by stick.

Really nice hockey, young guys, who are under 18 are also fulfilling the tactic from their coaches. Leonard now skated to the right circle and sent a snapshot, there was no other player in front of Sukhachev and he made an easy save.

America´s team can now think about two power-plays and chances, which they didn´t capitalize. Russian team is in lead and at the best way to semi-finals. However, the end of the game is very far now.

Russia is in a good performance after the goal, Gromov tried it from the blue line, his shot wasn´t accurate and missed the net.

Veriaev tried the shot from left circle, he missed a net!

Americans could totally change the direction of game, but didn´t score from penalty shot, this can be a pity for them in the end...now is game continuing with face-off in front of Rasmussen.

Russia wants to answer to US activity from the start of period, Rubtcov shot from the space between circles was blocked by defender!

Puck now mostly in the neutral zone or in the corners, teams know, that every fault can result in the goal of opponent.

Game immediately moved to the American attacking zone, there were two dangerous shots, Sukhachev saved both of them.

On the other side came the Russian attack, Gromov sent a really strong snap-shot fromm the blue line, Harper blocked it. It surely hurt Harper, but that´s hockey!

Russian defender Iakovenko is also supporting the offensive game of his team! He skated to the right circle and tried the success by wristshot, Rasmussen saw the puck and hide it to the equipment.

Pressure of US team in attacking zone resulted into the one shot by Perunovich from blue line, Sukhachev didn´t save.

Americans won the face-off and were combinating into the offense zone, Mittelstadt shot from the blue line and Gettinger was blocking the view for Sukhachev, Russian goalkeeper found the puck and save.

One minute of power-play is gone, Russia is defending well and doesn´t allow America to create clear scoring chances.

Finally the shot against Sukhachev, there was an attempt by Gleason from the blue line, Russian goalkeeper saved by trapper.

Russia survived the penalty killing and now is playing in full strenght, the second half of the match begins!

Inaccurate pass is in the end of Russian combination into the attacking zone, Americans can change line and maybe try to make interesting attack.

USA immediately won the face-off and shot the puck against Sukhachev, he wasn´t in ideal position, but saved for two times!

US in attacking zone, but just combinating at the blue line. Mittelstadt and Perunovich were changing puck together, finally, Perunovich made a wristshot, which finished at Sukhachev´s equipment.

USA again in attacking zone, there was inaccurate shot and puck went from board in dangerous way just in front of the net, Sukhachev had it into his glove!

The power-play of USA again without any goal, Russia is playing in ful strenght. We are still waiting for a goal in this period!

Russians made attack after a longer break in their offensive effort, there was 2 on 1 breakaway, the shot from Ivanov missed the target!

The start of power-play isn´t well for US team, Russia shot the puck through all lines, US need to start from Rasmussen.

Perunovich had a space at blue line in the power-play, but didn´t hit a puck properly. Americans they stayed at the activity and are combinating in attacking zone!

This was a quite better power-play from USA, but without the goal result. So Russia is in full strenght and game tied at 1-1.

USA won the face-off and shot the puck through all lines, Russia start from its own goalie.

Ryzhenkov shot in the power-play from the blue line and Ryzhenkov changed the direction of puck just in front of net, Rasmussen managed to react and saved!

US team in the attacking zone and Harper had a good position at right circle, but didn´t shot and tried to pass through Russian defender, what wasn´t successful.

Americans are more active now, know, that need at least two goals. Mittelstadt shot from the right circle, he was just behind the defender, Sukhachev saved!

More than one minute of Russian power-play is now starting! We know, that this team scored three times in this situation today...

Americans want to do "something" with this game, they were combinating into the attacking zone, but everything finished by inaccurate pass.

Nice individual breakaway by Harper, he made a nice wristshot from the position behind the defender, Sukhachev is great today and saved by blocker.

Dangerous situation on the other side also, Rasmussen didn´t see much, but finally hide the puck from the active Russian players.

Russia plays in good mood after the fifth goal, they are at the best way to clinch play-off round. Ivanuyzhenkov tried it by individual breakaway, backhand shot was blocked.

Russian power-play without any big pressure yet, Americans are defending well. Also, Russia doesn´t want to make a fault, which can allow US to make breakaway.

Alekseev shot from the blue line was inaccurant, but Russian team is staying in holding of puck!

Geraskin tried the shot from the blue line, which missed the target, US team shot through all lines.

Iakovenko didn´t catch the pass in attacking zone, Russia is losing it. However, that isn´t a problem for this team in this result.

USA finally plays in full strenght, we are slowly reaching the end of the match!
