Good combination of Slovak team, there was a crossing pass to Bucek, who didn´t hit the puck in clear position, there was an empty part of net!

So now the good slapshot by Solensky from right circle, Halonen was in his position and saved by pads!

Puck still at defense zone of Slovak team, this long powerplay isn´t fulfilling expectations of Slovak team. Slovakia needs a goal to make a drama!

Finally good opportunity for Slovakia, Rajnoha missed the pass in good position between circles. Then was the action stopped by player of Slovakia in goal crease.

Finland survived Slovak powerplays and game is mostly taking place at neutral zone. Home team plays more in offensive than in first period, but isn´t creating big chances.

Finally, Slovakia made a pressure in front of Finnish net and Bucek sent a great snapshot from right circle, Halonen held the puck between his pads!

Finland won the face-off and shot the puck through all lines, Slovakia needs to start from Durny, this isn´t well played power-play yet.

Nice action by Slovakia, Ruzicka blocked the shot of Finnish defender and estabilished the Slovak breakaway, Halonen blocked Tamas´ shot from right circle.

What to say, Slovak players try to make something with bad duration of game, but Finland plays simply great yet. This is really difficult game for host team.

Somppi had opportunity to score fourth Finnish goal, was in a good position between circles, but missed the net for a lot.

Slovakia took the time-out after the third goal, this is a really bad start of match for home team. Now, Finland is staying with puck in offense zone, "Suomi" are dominating the game yet.

Studenic´s individual effort in attacking zone of Slovak team, it looked like he was tripped by defender, but no penalty. Afterwards, Slovak forward sent a nice shot, Halonen saved by pads.

Slovakia is facing the favorite with much effort and strong defensive style of play, all players are coming back fast to the defense zone and blocking Finnish attacks.

Now finally the pressure from Finnish team, Niemelainen sent a wristshot from the blue line, goalkeeper reacted and saved by trapper.

Slovak team is defending well doesn´t allow Finland to have any big chance, on the other hand, there was a breakaway by Bucek, his shot was blocked by defender.

Welcome at the fourth game of group B at Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup 2015! Host team Slovakia played good game against Russia and lost "just" 2:5, Finland won the first game against USA by huge difference 5:1. This is another day and Slovakia wants to surprise the "Suomi!"

Slovakia is trying to surprise great teams in group and get at least one point. Slovak team was keeping pace with strong Russia in the first game, it scored two goals and got just five. Slovak team can rely on goalkeeper Koziak, who performed many nice saves in first match of tournament. Will Slovak players improve their performance and get first points?

Finland had an great start of tournament and scored four goals in first period of game against USA! "Suomi" got important three points and are at first place in group B. “We didn´t expect so big difference in result. USA had also many scoring chances, but our goalkeeper performed really well and stopped their chances. The result maybe don´t show the real difference at ice, however, that´s the hockey,” said the Finnish forward Otto Makinen after the first match. He was the most productive player and got 3 points (2+1).
