Welcome at the third day of Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup 2015! Group B is finishing with the game of two rivals, who will fight for first place in the group. Winner of the match will stay in Bratislava for semi-finals and get the second team from group A as an opponent.

Russia won both previous game by result 5:2. This team hadn´t big problems with Slovaks, the match against USA was more difficult, but Russian decided by two goals in the end of second period. Great individuals, goalkeepers and killing powerplays – thats are strenghts of Russian team.

Finland played also two similar games, won against USA 5:1 and put down Slovaks by result 4:2. "Suomi" have great first periods, where scored 7 goals from 9 at the tournament.

Let´s see, what this big game will bring. The winner will probably play with better team from double Sweden/Czech republic, losing team will move to Breclav for semifinal against Canada. The game starts at 14:00 CET at Ondrej Nepela Stadium, I´m looking forward to meet you at on-line broadcast.

Welcome all hockey fans at the third day of Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup! The game between Russia and Finland is about to be start! Russian team is going to play in red jerseys, Finnish team in white-blue combination.

The first shot also at Russian side, Rubtcov tried it from the left circle, Isokangas hadn´t any bigger problem to save.

Finnish team is more active and leading 2-1 on shots. The second shot was from Jaaska, he tried it by wristshot from right circle, Kaliaev without troubles.

Offside from the team of Finland, game is moving to the neutral zone. "Suomi" are quite better, without a goal yet.

Finland tried to answer, but their attack finished in inaccurate combination. We are watching nice fast hockey yet, spectators can enjoy a great game!

Finland is passing puck in attacking zone, Jokiharju was in the end of combination and sent a snapshot from right circle, missed the net!

Somppi made a nice crossing pass just in front of goal crease, where was Rasanen, but Kaliaev was faster and blocked the puck.

Russia survived the penalty killing and is playing in full strenght!

Finnish team stayed in activity, Jaaska tried it by individual action in the attacking zone, Russian defender was prepared and blocked his action.

"Suomi" sent fifth shot against Kaliaev, it was Salo from the blue line, Russian goalkeeper saw the puck and saved by trapper.

Now the Russian key in the offense zone, Finland was defending with all 5 players and succeeded, Russian didn´t send any shot on Isokangas.

Icing from team Russia, game is moving to the offense zone of Finland. After the fast start of the game, the game little bit lost the attractivity, we don´t see many chances.

Most of the game is hapenning in the neutral zone, nobody wants do to any mistake. Shots are 5-2 for Finland, no goals on both sides.

Blocked shot by team Russia, so the game is moving in front of Isokangas, who was facing just against two shots, but one of them was the great Kayumov´ s opportunity.

Russia´ s shot on goal, Bain was at the top of left circle and sent nice wristshot, Isokangas was in a great move and blocked the shot.

Isokangas again with a save, he hide the long pass from neutral zone, which wasn´t accurate. Face-off in front of Finnish net is coming.

Nice individual action by Tolvanen, he skated through left side of zone and tried it by backhand shot, missed the net.

Afterwards, the game was continuing by Jokiharju´ s shot from the blue line, it was a nice snap-shot, Kaliaev is great today and saved!

This is a hockey! Game turned to the other side and Russian made a good pressure against Isokangas, who saved in a difficult situation in front of him.

Offside from team of Russia, there´s going to be a face-off in neutral zone.

Jaaska skated behind the net and was looking for team-mates with a nice pass, which wasn´t accurate, period is now finishing in neutral zone.

Russian team is more active in the start of 2nd period and hold the puck into the offense zone, without any shot yet.

Not a good start of Russian power-play, Finland took the puck and shot it through all lines at ice.

Now Russian in the offense zone and their typical fast combination, in the end there was Salo and made a great defense action, shot the puck outside the defense zone of "Suomi."

Somppi back at ice, Russian didn´t capitalize the power-play and didn´t create many chances in this game situation.

Icing by Finnish team, so players of this team are staying at ice, Russia is changing line. Can Russia capitalize this advantage?

Not for now, however, Russia had short pressure, but without success. Iakovenko sent a shot from the blue line, Isokangas saw the puck and saved.

"Suomi" immediately moved to the offense zone and are performing good combinations, there was a shot from the left circle in the end, Kaliaev saw it and saved.

Inaccurate pass sent the Finnish team to the neutral zone, both teams are changing lines.

There are 28 seconds left at Russian penalty-killing, Finland still without success in this power-play, will it change?

So for now not, Russia is now playing in full strenghts and can make effort for equaliser. It´s important to win this game, winner will stay for semi-final in Bratislava.

Finland moved to the attacking zone and held Russians in front of Kaliaev, scorer of first gaol Makinen tried to add also the second, Kaliaev blocked his shot from left circle.

Russian team is now playing in full strenght, the Finnish power-play brought the biggest opportunity for Russia, but Shevchenko didn´t score from penalty shot.

Russians were passing in the offense zone, but without any shot on Isokangas! So Finnish team shot the puck through all lines.

Difficult moments for team Finland, but now "Suomi" are playing in full strenght, both teams are changing lines now.

Finland lost the face-off, so needs to start from Isokangas, Russians are defending well yet.

Now Finland finally in the attacking zone, Salo´s shot from the blue line was blocked by defender, game is staying in front of Russian net.

There´s going to be a 4 on 4 game! Not clever action by Markus Niemelainen, he gets minor penalty for highsticking.

Finland also more active at 4 on 4 game, the Finnish team is really deserving the lead by one goal, it´s better yet. Kaliaev now saved the shot by Salo from blue line.

Kaliaev again, he saved the huge snapshot by Kotkansalo, puck is still staying in Finnish offense zone.

Now the Russian penalty is starting, it should take 57 seconds or less, if Russia scores!
