Teams met in friendly tournament named Hockeyades in Switzerland. Both teams scored a lot of goals but it ended better for Dynamo, Czech team beat his opponent 4:7 (1:2, 3:4, 0:1). In another matches in the tournament Dynamo lost to Lousanne 3:1 and their third match with Ajoie was interrupted after first period for bad condition of the ice rink. Davos played with CSKA Moskow on the Hockeyades tournament, Swiss team lost 6:2.
Davos played first match in CHL in Färjestad and home team lost 0:4 to his Swiss rival. After goalless first period Swiss players started their show with three goals in second peroid. Goals was scored by Andres Ambühl, Dario Simion and Marc Aaeschlimann. In third period Davos didn't give any chance to the opponent again. Their fourth goal was scored by Marcus Paulsson in 53:26.
Dynamo forward Petr Sýkora has got big emotional attachment with HC Davos. He played in this team for four seasons (2008/09, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13) and he scored 95 goals in jersey with blue-yellow logo on the chest. „Davos is great team, one of the best in Europe,“ he said. „I like Davos coach Arno del Curto, he's rigorous but he's very friendly too. He's truly exceptional.“
