Düsseldorfer EG

    Düsseldorf's coach Christof Kreutzer:

I think we were the better team today from the start. We worked hard and played good defence. Turku's first goal was a mistake from my goalie but he was great for the rest of the game, he stopped five penalty shots, I think. It's 50-50 in penalty shots. We are happy to move to a next round and to win for our fans who were beautiful today like always. We are a happy team today. The ice was today horrible.

    TPS' coach Ari-Pekka Selin:

Difficult game today. We were tired, we played so fast up. We made many bad mistakes with the puck. It's good that we lasted 60 minutes and got one point. We had good penalty kill today, very good. And of course Lassila was fantastic. And yes, the ice was terrible, it was dangerous for the players. (20:31:36)
