    Vitkovice vs Grodno will be a decisive match in group I. Both teams have 3 points so far, but there is a difference. Vitkovce played only two matches, while Neman Grodno played 3 matches. So Neman is in tougher situation, it’s must-win game for Belarus team. If they lose, their CHL campaign for this year is over. Adler Mannheim is first with 6 points from 3 matches.

    Neman started very well in Champions Hockey League. They beat Mannheim 2:0 on home ice, but then they were defeated in second match against Mannheim 1:2 and also against Vitkovice 0:2. Vitkovice lost against Mannheim at home 1:2 and then obviously, beat Neman Grodno 2:0.

    Ostrava-based team faces a tough schedule. They will play two matches in two days. Furthemore, they need to move to Mannhein, when they will play the last match of this group. However, head coach Ladislav Svozis hopes Vitkovice will win on Friday. But it is not gonna be easy.

    “We need to win on Friday, but it will be tough. Grodno played very well against us and also in both matches against Mannheim. We have to win this match, because only win will secure us promotion to the next stage.”

    Besides, this match is special for Neman’s coach Milos Holan, who started his career in Vitkovice and also worked there as a coach asistant.
