Davos finish top of group E with 10 points, and will surely take confidence with them into the knockout round.

    57:39
Sven Jung 2 mins for slashing.

    57:30
Will we see Maxwell pulled soon in favour of a 6th skater? Face-off in the Davos end, and Pardubice are going on the powerplay.

    55:10
Davos will now look to put this one to bed on the PP.

Great hard-working shioft by #18 for Davos Gregory Sciaroni as he battles well down low for 30 seconds and draws a penalty!

    52:48
BIG SAVE by Maxwell to keep thjem in it!! He stands tall as Paulsson broke clear and shot high blocker. Great save!

    52:06
So with a touch under 8 minutes remaining, the visitors from the Czech Republic will have to act quickly to have any chance of taking this game to the end. Let's see what they can offer!

    51:49
End to end open hockey for the last couple of minutes, no whistle for a while now.

    48:45
Sykora rifles one just wide and it brushes the netting high glove side – the away fans thought he'd scored from their angle!

    45:29
Some nice passing by the visitors, but no real test as yet for Senn on this powerplay. The penalty has now been killed and Davos are back to full strength.

    43:10
Aeschlimann sees his chance on the breakaway go wide and it's still 3-2 to the hosts.

    41:43
Who's gonna be the man to level it up for the visitors, could it be ex Davoser Petr Sykora?

ADAM HAVLIK gets his goal! He roofs it over Senn from right in front after nice work by Kolar. Game on! Assisted by: Jan Kolar.

    37:00
As the penalty clock runs down, Pardubice just haven’t been able to get going on this particular powerplay. As I say that, a massive scramble in front of the Davos net sees at least 3 players poking at the half-frozen puck. Face-off ensues in the neutral zone as tempers calm.

    35:39
2 mins for roughing, as a helmetless opponent heads to the bench. PP Pardubice.

    32:45
Breakaway chance by Paulsson hops over the net and we've a face-off down low.

    32:19
Pardubice will surely want to keep up the pressure now on the new netminder, for all the possession they've had in the second, they've only managed one shot more than the hosts – 8-9 in this period

    30:10
    Goal for Pardubice!
With only the second shot on Gilles Senn, who'd just come in nets for Davos, TOMAS ROLINEK squeezes one through the five-hole as Poulicek was making a nuisance of himself just outside the crease.
    JOERG - 3:0

    29:41
    Goal for Davos!
Third goal for HC Davos. MAURO JOERG scored in front of the net. Assisted by: Dario Simion.

    25:56
The home team are really struggling to build anything up here, and have almost been pinned in to their own end so far in the second.

    24:30
Bad giveaway in front of their own net almost leads to a third Davos goal!

    23:10
It looks like coach Milos Riha didn't mince his words in the break, Dynamo have really upped their game here in the second, and look much hungrier.

    22:25
77 Poulicek fans on a one-timer in the high slot and the powerplay is nearly over. Excellent passing there almost paid off.

Both teams return to the ice for the second period.

2nd period starts at 20.33 CET.

Davos flew out of the blocks, racing into a 2-0 lead after only 7 mins. Pardubice have, however, played their way back into the game, and could've pulled one back late on as they fired all 8 shots of theirs in the second half of the period.

Shots on goal in that first period were 12-8.

    15:47
2 mins for interference on the goaltender.

Huge kill here for the visitors, as a third goal from Davos could prove too much to pull back.

    14:23
2 mins for interference. Tomas Kaut (PCE).

    14:15
61 for the visitors Jakub Svoboda, and 28 Dick Axelsson for the hosts mix it up a little bit near the bin, and are mouthing off to each other all the way back to trhe benches.

    12:11
Beautiful inter-play from Pardubice almost created their opening goal, but Genoni in nets for Davos was up to the task. More of an even flow here now, and Pardubice managed to fire 2 or 3 shots off there in quick succession.

    10:35
    Penalty successfully killed by Davos.

At the midway point of the first period, it's already 10 shots to goal to 0 for Davos! Let's see if the powerplay helps the visitors get a few on target.

    08:19
    2 mins for charging.
    BREJCAK - 2:0

    06:55

JAN BREJCAK started and finished the goal there all himself, cycling nicely down low, dropping high and then moving into the crease to finish off the play. Assists coming from Dick Axelsson and Dario Simion.

    Powerplay Davos

    04:00
4 minutes in and it's definitely the hosts from Davos who've started the hungrier.

Just over 2 hours to go now, we'll get you the starting line-ups announced around 19.00 CET, ready for a 19.45 face.off.

We're just over 24 hours away from the last game of the group stages in the 2015/16 Champions Hockey League, and in Group E, tomorrow's hosts the HC Davos and Kalstad Färjestad of Sweden have both successfully negotiated their way through a very tight group and into the knockout stages.

HC Pardubice will be heading to Davos, Switzerland looking to get a win on the board after only gaining the one point in 3 games so far. That came in last nights painful OT loss in Sweden where Färjestad twice came back from a two goal deficit, tied the game at 3 in the last 20 seconds and then won it 4-3 on the powerplay in Overtime. The Czechs have not struggled to find the net, scoring 7 goals to Davos and Färjestad's 8, but have lost all three games by the odd goal and could maybe feel themselves a little unlucky to be sitting bottom of the group with just the single point.

HC Davos on the other hand will be happy to be already sitting comfortably in the draw for the next round, but will still want to entertain their fans and go out of the group stages with another win.

Face off is at 19.45CET tomorrow.
