Both teams' head coaches were satisfied after the game.

Tappara's head coach Jussi Tapola: The mood is great in all. Zug is a good opponent, that 7-0-result wasn't going to fool us.

The team prepared itself well and we got a good thing going. It lasted the whole game and even with the power plays not working, we tolerated the bad moments too.

The game had much good. We have been playing variably but now the total package is in good order. That is a good point to advance from.

Zug's head coach Harold Kreis: It was a big game for Tappara so they could win the group. For us, I think that the guys put in a good effort. We thought this as a practice for the upcoming season on Friday.

This was pretty intense game. I believe that Tappara played yesterday and we played a couple of days ago so I think this was a good hockey game considering that.

Mr Kreis also liked the CHL as a concept.

I think that we are always in the toughest group but in general I think it is a great competition. Excellent teams and everybody takes this seriously. They want to perform well, they want to move on to the next round. I think it is great for the fans to see foreign ice hockey cultures. I think this is a great set-up. (18:22:30)

Tampere's Sunday evening sees an interesting game between Tappara and Zug. The goal has quite the importance. If Tappara gets at least a point, they will win the group. Zug on the other hand will be the last team in the group. It is still sure though that they won't go down without a fight.

Tappara has been strong in this year's CHL. They have won Djurgården once, lost to them once in overtime and won Zug.

Their leading scorer has been Patrik Laine (2+2) with Arttu Ilomäki, Jan-Mikael Järvinen and Henrik Haapala trailing behind with 1+2. Both Tomi Karhunen and Mika Noronen have shared the responsibility on the net.

Zug's CHL-season has been miserable. They have lost to twice to Djurgården and Tappara has crushed them once. They have zero points and no hope for playoffs.

Their leading scorer is Pierre-Marc Bouchard (1+2) with Jarkko Immonen trailing behind. Tobias Stephan has played all the games on the net.

Game starts at 16:00 EET (15:00 CET).
