And that was a quick comeback! TPS gets a 2-on-1 rush and it ends in post shot. Then comes Lauri TUKONEN who strikes the rebound in! Assisted by Elmeri Eronen and Eric Perrin.
Wow, what kind of domination by Petteri NUMMELIN! He calms the powerplay, shoots and it goes in. Assisted by Harri Tikkanen and Dave Spina.
Saves in the 2nd period: Teemu Lassila 10, Tuomas Tarkki 10
First goal gave a big boost for the home crowd and expecially for the home team. Only two minutes later Petr HUBACEK makes it 2-0 with a nice wrist shot. Assisted by: Jani Tuppurainen and Juuso Pulli.
And now the first goal of the game! Mikko Kalteva shoots the puck and some nice net-front presence from Mikko SALMIO. Assisted by: Mikko Kalteva and Darryl Boyce.

JYP played in same group with Sheffield Steelers and Frölunda Gothenburg. JYP won both games against the brittish teams but Frölunda was better in both games.
TPS was impressive in its own group with Dusseldorf EG and Black Wings Linz by losing only one game against Dusseldorf. TPS won it's own group with nine points.
Most interesting detail in this pair is Eric Perrin. Perrin was JYP's captain for last three season but headed to Turku for this season. This is the first time that Perrin returns to his old hometown.
