Tuesday 03.11.2015, 13:00Champions Hockey League gameday liveblog

So that's all for today. Some surprises, while others went according to form.

    Litvinov 2–1 Frolunda
    Espoo 3–1 HV71
    Turku 4–3 Storhamar
    Tappara 2–1 Lulea
    Liberec 3–5 Davos
    Sparta 4–2 Karpat
    Eisbaren 2–5 Skelleftea
    Djurgarden 1–2 Lukko

Remember, these aggregate scores carry into the games next Tuesday, with the teams that were away today getting home ice next week. See you then! (22:13:58)

It's all over in Stockholm. Djurgarden with a late power play but Lukko hold on for the 2-1 win. As mentioned, that was a huge late goal, as they now take a 1-goal aggregate lead into their home game next week.

And with 3:17 to play Lukko breaks the deadlock! ILLKA MIKKOLA beats Mikael Tellqvist with a hard and low shot just inside the post. This would be a huge road win in the first leg if they can hang on.

Into the last 5 minutes in Stockholm, still 1-1 between Djurgarden and Lukko.

Djurgarden have just tied the game late in the 2nd period of a tight defensive game in Stockholm. LINUS HULTSTRÖM takes a nice pass from Adam Ollas Mattsson and buries it. 1-1 after 40 minutes.

Berlin got a late goal from Laurin Braun to make the final score a slightly more respectable 5-2. However, they still face an uphill challenge heading to northern Sweden with a 3-goal deficit on aggregate.

Sparta win 4-2 on home ice, backed by a brilliant goaltending performance from Tomas Popperle. Everyone knew he'd have to be strong to give his team a chance in this one.

Skelleftea had a 3-1 lead after 2 periods in Berlin, and 2 more goals have made it 5-1 early in the third period.

Meanwhile, after 1 period in Stockholm, Lukko lead Djurgarden 1-0 on a goal by Sami Lahteenmaki.

Captain Jaroslav Hlinka restores Sparta's 4-2 lead over Karpat with under 4 minutes to go in Prague.

HC Davos are the first road team to win today, 5-3 over Bili Tygri Liberec, so they'll start with a 2-goal lead on home ice next week. The big story in Liberec was the sell-out crowd of 7,500! Read more here.

But just like that it's 3-2 Jani Hakanpaa with a wrister from the point just 21 seconds later. Quite a game in Prague!

3-1 Sparta! After giving up 1 goal in the first 19.5 periods of CHL play, Sparta Prague have figured out the secret of beating Sami Aittokallio and the previously impenetrable Karpat Oulu defence.

HC Litvinov, Tappara Tampere, the Espoo Blues and TPS Turku all win at home to put themselves in good position heading on the road next week. Read more here.

Erik FORSSELL notches another one for Skelleftea, and the Eisbaren trail 2-0 after 12 minutes.
A great atmosphere in Berlin, but the home fans not with much to shout about... Skelleftea score the opening goal early in period one.

47:31 now played in Tappara, and the home side are ahead again thanks to LAJUNEN!

    98[ulj
Lulea are level in Tappara! 46:10 on the board, and it's Christopher MASTOMAKI with the tying goal.

Marcus PAULSSON scores for Davos at 28:08 and they now lead 4-1 in Liberec!

    Halftime

Litvinov hold on despite a late PP for Frolunda, to win 2-1 in the first leg!

3 each between TPS and Storhamar after 40 minutes.

Timeout called by Frolunda in Litvinov – they trail 2-1 in the closing stages.

A minute before the break in Espoo, and Kim HIRSCHOVITS puts the Blues 3-1 ahead of HV71. In Prague Karpat have taken the lead against Sparta, meaning the Czech side would now have to score two goals to make it through – double the amount Karpat have conceded so far in the whole tournament.

Oskari SIIKI ties the game for TPS, they've come back from 3-0 down at home to Storhamar!

A great period for Davos sees them head into the first intermission 3-1 up in Liberec.

12 minutes to go in period three in Litvinov, and the score now sits at 2-1 to the home side. Andreas JOHNSON had tied the game for the visitors, before Robin HANZL put the home team back in front.
    Tappera still leads 1-0

The Sparta-Karpat game got going about 10 minutes ago... remember that the side from Oulu have only let in one goal in SIX CHL GAMES!

It's been a bit of a nightmare start in period two for Storhamar – running into some penalty trouble too, they've conceded two goals and lead TPS now by just 3-2. Just under ten minutes to play in period 2 there.

Two teams have just got themselves back in games tonight – Liberec are now trailing Davos 1-2 in the opening period; while in Espoo Simon ONERUD has halved the deficit for HV71 with just 57s played in period two.

Dario SIMION has added another for Davos, and Liberec are two down with less than ten minutes played in their home tie.

Two periods done in Litvinov, where the home side lead Frolunda by a single goal.

6:09 on the board in Liberec, and Andreas AMBUEHL has put Davos 1-0 up.
The great arena in Prague awaits... what a place to play!

So if you're been doing other things or making your dinner in the last 30 minutes or so, here's what's been happening:

Storhamar are at it again, leading 3-0 in Turku!

Litvinov have just taken the lead over Frolunda, 1-0.

Taper lead defending champions Lulea 1-0/

Espoo are two ahead of HV71.

So no score through 20 minutes in Litvinov. Can out 17:30 starts, which get underway in just a couple of minutes, provide any goals? It'll be all eyes on Espoo, Turku, and Tampere to find out!

10 minutes down in Litvinov, and we're still waiting for our opening goal – although the home side just came VERY close to getting it!

    16:30
Here we go then, under way in Litvinov!
43 minutes to go until face-off in Turku... here's the line-up for the visitors
