		1st or 4th period over! Kärpät had a blitzkrieg start and got two goals before the 2 minute mark! Junttila already with 1+1. The game is tied 2-2 as we head to the first intermission. Kärpät were on the drivers seat and also got 2 power play opportunities. Kähkönen was a bit insecure in the 2-0 goal, but has kept the quarter-final tied since then.

		Good evening from Oulu! Kärpät and Blues just finnished their warm up before this second leg of the CHL quarter-finals. Approximately an hour ago, the news broke that Roope Talaja has left the Blues squad and will not play in this game. Blues arrived in Oulu yesterday and Talaja did travel with Blues but has resigned before the match.
		Karpat Oulu vs. Espoo Blues (0-2), Oulun Energia-Areena, 17:30 With their well-documented off-ice problems, Espoo Blues stand on the cusp of a mini-fairytale if they could make the Champions Hockey League semifinals. They head to Oulu two goals up, although will meet a Karpat side coming of the back of an 8-2 thrashing of HIFK. "Of course successes feed our confidence, but we also had a good game under our belt before we lost in Espoo last week so that means nothing on its own," said coach Lauri Marjamäki. "We have a good feeling heading into tonight though, a two-goal deficit isn't something we can't overturn".
