And that's how we finish tonight...

    Goal!

A Lasson rocket from the blue-line puts Frolunda now 5-0 ahead. It's a long way back for Davos from here, especially heading to Sweden next week. (22:38:16)

Eight minutes to go in Davos, Frolunda four ahead.

    Goal!

Sweet finish from Jacob Larsson and Frolunda lead 4-0!

Or not – teams playing 4 on 4

PP for Davos – if they want to keep this series alive, they need a goal now.

    Goal!

Back under way in period three, and Frolunda have wasted no time in getting themselves further ahead! Davos fail to clear, and pay the price!
    Here's that glove save...

Frolunda lead 2-0 after 40 minutes, thanks in no small part to their goalie!

Bit of pressure now from the hosts – can they pull one back before the period it out?

    Goal!

Frolunda double their lead, although the home fans think there should have been a penalty on the visitors at the other end. There wasn't, everyone played on, and Figren makes it 2-0 with 11:03 to play in period two.

We're back in Davos now for period two, the home side a goal down.

No goal – Frolunda stay 1-0 ahead.

There's a review going on in Davos on a home team "goal".

It's all Frolunda at the moment, with Davos struggling to get a foothold in the game.

    Goal!

Frolunda take the lead on the PP through Spencer ABBOTT at 5:29.

Game time in Davos, what an atmosphere!

    Halftime

Karpat Oulu take a 3-2 lead with them back home ahead of next week's return leg vs. Lukko Rauma!

    Goal!

We said there'd be drama tonight, and there already has been... Karpat have come from 2-0 down to lead 3-2!

    Goal!

We're all square in Rauma – Juho KERANEN finished off the breakaway thanks to a super pass from NUTIVAARA!

Back on the ice in Rauma

No goals in the middle period – Lukko still leads 2-1.

Koistvo goes through Aittokallio while trying to reach for a puck, leading to the usual repercussions!

It's worth pointing out that a win here for Lukko puts them joint-top of the "Who hosts the final" table with Karpat.

    Back under way in Rauma!
    Meanwhile in Davos...

A good period in Rauma, with Lukko 2-1 ahead after 20 minutes. Just 100 more to go in this series!

    Goal

Karpat power play, defeneman Lasse Kukkonen cuts the deficit in half with a bar-down slapper on the power play at 14:40. 2-1 Lukko and Karpat headed right back to the PP.

    Goal!

Woah there – this makes things interesting... Lukko have just gone 2-0 up with 9:01 left in period one! Still, 111 minutes left for Karpat to sort that out!

    Goal!

Karpat leave CRAMO Top Scorer Toni KOIVISTO unmarked in front of the net, and he won't miss from there!

Away we go with Lukko Rauma vs. Karpat Oulu!

Here we go then, we are ready to roll in Rauma!
Looks like this fan has great seats too!

This is your 45minute warning until face-off in the opening game :D !

Calm before the storm up in Lukko...

Just under four hours until we drop the puck tonight!
Davos' Dick Axelsson, and Frolunda's Robin Figren, have been warming up for tonight with some twitter "conversations"...

Frolunda got to Davos last night, and had a training session under the open sky on the practice rink!

Welcome along as we count down to tonight's two CHL semi-final first leg matches – Lukko hosting Karpat, and Frolunda visiting Davos!
