		It was Sparta that came out of the gate quickly with an early goal. It took Mannheim a while to get going but they finally did and equalized before the period was out. 2nd period starts at 8:46.

	21:36	Sparta with the first chance of the second period, Pakarinnen the save and he covers.
	22:03	High wrister from Lutz, caught and held by Mican.
	23:37	Goal for Sparta! Second goal for this line this morning. Pakarinnen made the save on Safin's initial shot but ONDREJ SISOLAK was there for the rebound and put it in. Assist: Ostap Safin.
	24:09	Just after the goal Sparta go to the power play, as Mannheim's Maximillian Lee Geis heads to the box.
	26:40	Goal for Sparta! They didn't score on the power play but they kept the pressure on and get another goal not long after. Mach feeds Vorobjev at the point and his slapper is deflected by MATEJ FLIDR and beats Pakarinnen up high. Assists: Alexander Vorobjev, Matyas Mach.

	34:16	Goal for Sparta! This combination strikes again, as Sisolak feeds OSTAP SAFIN and he cuts in on goal and goes upstairs to give Sparta a 3-goal lead. Assist: Ondrej Sisolak.
	35:31	Goal for Sparta! STEPAN CECH shot from a weak angle was stopped by Pakarinnen, but he went after his own rebound and poked it across the goal line.
	38:46	Sparta's Martin Hugo Has heads to the box for interference, so Mannheim to the power play.

		The teams were tied entering the 2nd period but Sparta has broken the game open with 4 goals in the middle frame. Most of the damage has been done by Safin and Sisolak with 3 points each. 3rd period begins at 9:31.

	41:25	Sparta go to the attack after killing off the last few seconds of the penalty, putting pressure on in the Mannheim zone.
	42:14	Now Sparta to the power play as Mannheim's Maximilian Lee Geis goes back to the penalty box for slashing.
	42:48	Sparta move the puck around on the PP, Pika's low wrister is stopped and covered by Pakarinnen with 1:26 left in the penalty.
	44:46	Maximilian Lee Geis gets out of the box but is now headed right back for high-sticking, his third penalty of the game.

	46:47	Just as the penalty expired Honn's high wrister hit Mican in the shoulder and went out of play. Mannheim had the better chances to score on that PK.

	52:10	Sparta 2 on 1, the one-timer from Tomas Vizner but Pakarinnen stretches and makes an amazing toe save.
	53:20	Now a shot from Wojnar and another save by Pakarinnen.
	54:19	Action around the Sparta net, Mican stops play and we get some pushing and shoving after the whistle. No penalties.

		Entering the 3rd period with a commanding 4-goal lead, Sparta was content to coast to victory. Mannheim tried to generate some offence but were unable to break through.
