Final game is done – Vaxjo overcome Boleslav 7-3 and that is your lot for tonight :) (22:32:23)

Despite some stubborn resistance, it looks to be game over for Boleslav now in Vaxjo – Lakers make it 6-3 with 14:11 to play in the final period.

    State of play

    Stavanger 2-1 Nitra
    HV71 5-3 Sheffield
    Mannheim 2-3 Lugano
    Linz 1-3 Bern
    Vienna 3-2 Skelleftea OT
    Krefeld 0-2 Karpat
Vaxjo 5-3 Mlada Boleslav (Period 3)

Well that was a quick game – Karpat win 2-0 in Krefeld and the game is already over.

Meanwhile, Vienna have beaten Skelleftea 3-2 in Overtime thanks to Jamie Fraser!

Dan DASILVA at 45:46 gets Linz on the board, but they still trial Bern by 3-1. Meanwhile HV71 have beaten Sheffield 5-3, and Vaxjo are 5-3 up on Boleslav.

    Done deal

All over in Stavanger, Oilers win 2-1!

    Goal!

That's it, all over in Jonkoping, ARLBRANDT with just under four minutes to go puts HV71 5-3 ahead and Sheffield won't come back from that.

Dylan REESE puts HV71 back ahead at 51:48 with Sheffield again their own worst enemies and playing a man down.

    State of play

    Stavanger 2-1 Nitra (Period 3)
    HV71 3-3 Sheffield (Period 3)
    Mannheim 2-2 Lugano (End 2)
    Linz 0-3 Bern (End 2)
    Vienna 2-1 Skelleftea (End 2)
    Krefeld 0-2 Karpat (Period 3)
Vaxjo 3-3 Mlada Boleslav (Period 2)

    Goal!

O.M.G. Sheffield have equalised in Jonkoping again! Rob DOWD the man at the start of period three.

    Goal!

34:31 played over in Mannheim and Ryan GARDNER puts Lugano level on the PP! Good comeback!

Gregory HOFMANN at 28:59 has Lugano on the board in Mannheim, trailing now just 2-1. Meanwhile in Austria Linz now find themselves 2-0 down at home to Bern.

Mikael RUOHOMAA has doubled Karpat's lead in Krefeld at 30:49 to 2-0, while in Vaxjo Boleslav are back level again – and they've just ended period one!

That does us for two periods in both Stavanger and Jonkoping; Oilers 2-1 up on Nitra still, with HV71 leading Sheffield 3-2.

And Sheffield are back in their game vs. HV71, a couple of minutes before the 40 mark RATCHUK with caps off a nice team move to make it now just 3-2 to the hosts.

    Goal!

27:38 on the board, equaliser in Vienna – Taylor VAUSE the scorer.

Some more goals to tell you about, both in Sweden...

11:28 played in Vaxjo and Rosen puts the Lakers back ahead, 3-2 now they lead Boleslav. Meanwhile in Jonkoping Sheffield are starting to get one by bad discipline, a delayed penalty results in HV71 going 3-1 up and the home side are on another PP now too.

35s into period two in Linz and Bern are ahead Andrew EBBETT with the go-ahead goal. Meanwhile in Vaxjo, Boleslav are on the board through Pacovsky...

HANG ON – Boleslav have equalised! Tomas URBAN scores at just past the 10 minute mark to draw them level at two each!

    Goal!

HV71 back ahead in their match with Sheffield, Martin TORNBERG making the extra man count again, this one at 30:10.

Explosive start for Vaxjo Lakers at home to Boleslav, they're already two up with less than three minutes played: Robert ROSEN and Erik JOSEFSSON scoring at 0:33 and 2:28 respectively.

    State of play

    Stavanger 2-1 Nitra (Period 2)
    HV71 1-1 Sheffield (Period 2)
    Mannheim 2-0 Lugano (End 1)
    Linz 0-0 Bern (End 1)
    Vienna 0-1 Skelleftea
    Krefeld 0-1 Karpat
Vaxjo 0-0 Mlada Boleslav (Period 1)

Looks like fun up in Stavanger!

    Goal!

Well would you believe THAT – Sheffield are level against HV71! The referees weren't sure, but with the help of video replays, the goal is given to John ARMSTRONG at 23:22.

    Goal!

As the period tickets down in Krefeld, there's been at late goal, just 31s left to play in the opening 20 minutes and Tuomas VARTIAINEN puts Karpat ahead.

Teams are back on the ice and playing in Stavanger & Jonkoping.

    Goal!

10:27 on the board in Vienna, and Skelleftea now lead thanks to Oscar MOLLER.

    Goal!

Two very early markers in Mannheim, and it's the Adler that have got them... former national team captain David WOLF (2:52) and then Dominik BITTNER (4:48) putting the home side ahead with Lugano seemingly still on the bus.

And we're at the end of 20 minutes in the opening two games, Stavanger leading Nitra 2-1, and HV71 one up on Sheffield.

Now live with our 19:30 starts:

    Krefeld vs. Karpat
    Vienna vs. Skelleftea
    Linz vs. Bern
    Mannheim vs. Lugano

    Goal!

Mattias TEDENBY at 16:48 puts HV71 ahead against Sheffield on the PP.

    Goal!

15:33 on the board in Stavanger, and the Oilers are back ahead through Kristian FORSBERG.

Powerbreak in Jonkoping, Steelers' Coach Paul Thompson 'politely' telling his players to win the puck low in their own zone... apologies if you heard the live audio of that!

Warm up over at the 19:30 starts, here are Lugano in Mannheim.

    Goal!

Opening goal of the night goes to Stavanger, with Svein Petter FALK-LARSSEN putting the hosts 1-0 ahead after 5:16.

... However just as I type, the visitors are level with Judd BLACKWATER tying it up for Nitra 18s later.

Early chances in Jonkoping going to the home side's way, but the Latvian in Sheffield's net keeping them out so far.
