    Starting lineups:

HC Pilsen: Machovsky (Polivka) – Pulpan (A), Ceresnak, Moravcik, Spacek, Kvasnicka, Kubka – Kubalik, Kracik (A), Indrak – Svoboda, Stach, Kratena (C) – Lev, Kodytek, Johnson – Schleiss, Koreis, Suchy. Head Coach: Michal Straka

Referees: Bauer (GER), Prazak – Brejcha, Suchanek (All CZE).

"Unfortunately, we weren't able to get the win in the last two games. It is going to be different now," said Michal Straka, Pilsen Head Coach. "We have to battle hard against the Oilers, securing a spot in the play-offs is obviously our goal!"

The Oilers took off well with a home win over Nitra, but then they lost both of the games that followed as well. We mentioned the one against Pilsen. The second encounter with Nitra took place in Slovak town on Tuesday and it resulted into a 2-1 victory for the home side.

Since then however, the Pilseneres struggled to get more points. They lost to Nitra away and also at home on last Saturday. The home game especially was quite exciting with Pilsen taking 2-0 lead in the first period, but a lot of penalties as well. Those were key for Nitra to get back into game in the second period where the Slovaks turned the scoreline around in their favour.

The first mutual game between both teams ended with a 3-0 win for the Czechs in which was their first ever CHL game. Two tallies by current Cramo Top Scorer Dominik Kubalík and a tap-in by Miroslav Indrák set the final result in Norway.
