What an effort from Wolfsburg, they've won 3-2 in Gothenburg and advance to the next round. (22:25:56)

    Frolunda have the goalie out...

    GOAL!

Wolfsburg are ahead again! 3-2 with around four minutes to go. Nervous times for their fans, and those of Pardubice.

Munich end Znojmo's CHL season with a 7-0 thrashing of the Czech side.

We have justo ne game left running, and that's the all-important Frolunda-Wolfsburg match which is currently 2-2.

    GOAL!

What a performance for Esbjerg – not only did they level their home game with 9 seconds to go, but they've only gone and won the OT as well against HIFK!

    Final scores:

    Vaxjo 4-0 Minsk
HV72 1-2 Red Ball Salzburg – RBS qualify, Sheffield eliminated

Vaxjo go 3-0 up on Minsk, and will advance as group winners unless there is a spectacular comeback!

    GOAL!

IFK back ahead in Denmark, and TPS hit six in Lorenskog.

Over in Munich, the other Red Bulls lead Znojmo 4-0.

Not looking good for Sheffield now – Salzburg double their lead in Jonkoping through Brett OLSON at 44:02.

Esbjerg are just refusing to let IFK Helsinki get away, and have tied the game now at three each!

    As things stand

    KalPa 3-1 Vienna Capitals
    HV71 0-1 Red Bull Salzburg (End 2)
Vaxjo Lakers 2-0 Yunost Minsk (End 1)
    Lorenskog 0-5 TPS (End 2)
Esbjerg 2-2 IFK Helsinki (End 2)
    Munich 3-0 Znojmo (In 2)
    Froludna 1-2 Wolfsburg (In 1)

Some quick goals in period two for TPS have moved them out to a 5-0 lead over Lorenskog. In Esbjerg, IFK are back ahead now at 3-2, and Wolfsburg lead 2-0 in the opening period in Gothenburg – not good news for Pardubice.

    Game over

Ville-Vesa Vainiola adds a third for KalPa with a penalty shot to win the game 3-1. That means his side have 3 points and stay alive – they need another 3 in Vienna on Sunday though.

What a finish we are having in Kuopio – a goal for Vienna puts them through, no further scoring keeps KalPa alive for a Sunday showdown!

    GOAL!

We also have a tying goal for the Energy, 2-2 now against HIFK.

    GOAL!

What drama in Finland – KalPa have taken the lead shorthanded thanks to Ville-Vesa Vainiola at 55:43.

    GOAL!

Late drama in Kuopio – 52:43 on the clock, Janne KERANEN equalises! A point isn't enough for them though.

All of today's games are running bar one: be they in the final, middle, or opening periods. The only one yet to start is Frolunda hosting Wolfsburg.

    As things stand

KalPa 0-1 Vienna Capitals (End 2)
    HV71 0-1 Red Bull Salzburg (End 1)
Vaxjo Lakers 2-0 Yunost Minsk (End 1)
    Lorenskog 0-1 TPS (End 1)
Esbjerg 1-2 IFK Helsinki (End 1)

    GOAL!

IFK complete the turnaround in Denmark and lead the Energy by 2-1. Also Vaxjo have doubled their lead now against Minsk.

Period two over in Kuopio, and Vienna still lead by a goal. KalPa have 20 minutes to save their CHL season.

Also a goal up in Vaxjo, where the Lakers take the lead against Minsk. That game will decide who wins the group as both sides have already qualified.

    GOAL!

Well that lead didn't last long for the Energy, IFK tie the game.

    GOAL!

Juuso PUUSTINEN has put Esbjerg ahead at home to IFK Helsinki – just under 12 minutes played there. Remember if the hosts win, they make the next round!

    GOAL!

TPS take the leas in Lorenskog. Nothing on that game except pride for both teams.

    GOAL!

Early one for Salzburg in Jonkoping – Tommy Raffl getting it.

Time for the 19:00 games to get going:

    HV71 vs. Red Bu;l Salzburg
    Vaxjo Lakers vs. Yunost Minsk
    Lorenskog vs. TPS
    Esbjerg vs. IFK Helsinki

Back out for period two in Finland... as things stand the Capitals would advance and knock KalPa out.

20 minutes done then in KalPa, and it's the Capitals who lead 1-0.

Just watching the reply of that Vienna goal, KalPa goalie Godla will be wanting that back – creeps through the five-hole.

    GOAL!

12:41 played in Kuopio, Rafael Rotter gives Vienna the lead!

Still goalless up in Kuopio with just over half the period played.

Time to drop the puck in Kuopio!

Just a half hour then until KalPa entertain Vienna. A win for the visitors puts them through, and if not the two sides meet again on the final day .

Just over an hour to go for today's games!

    Welcome. Event starts at 15:00.
