Wow – what an night... that marks the end of all the games as we've had comebacks galore! Final aggregate scores from tonight are:

    Vitkovice 3-2 Liberec
    JYP 5-6 SC Bern
    IFK Helsinki 1-2 Linkoping HC
    Vaxjo Lakers 6-5 SaiPa
    HV71 4-7 Sparta Prague
    Fribourg-Gotteron 4-3 KalPa
    Frolunda 10-2 Berlin (22:25:47)

    GOAL!

That's it – Finland have lost all of their teams tonight as Fribourg win in OT at 61:20 with YANNICK RATHGEB's backhanded effort!

And Berlin have won 4-1 tonight, 10-2 on aggregate.

    Playing OT in Fribourg!

Two minutes to play in Fribourg – are we going to get OT Game #3 of the night?

MATS ROSSELI OLSEN puts a rebound away to put Frolunda 3-1 ahead.

    GOAL!

Berlin are on the board in Gothenburg – Frolunda lead 2-1 on the night.

It's getting intense in Fribourg, who are still locked in a tie with KalPa as less than 10 minutes now remains.

    What's still left?

Fribourg and Kalpa are tied at two each on aggregate, 3-3 overall, with 13:40 to play in the third.

Frolunda 2-0 on the night over Berlin, 8-1 overall.

    DONE DEAL!

Sparta Prague with one of the biggest CHL comebacks ever recorded, five goals they score in Jonkoping to beat HV71 7-4 on aggregate away from home!

Oh what an error from Peterson-Wentzel – he's gifted Sparta a goal and at 3-goals up you could probably call Prague through!

Three minutes for HV71 to save themselves...

Eight minutes to play in Jonkoping, HV71 need two goals...

    DONE DEAL!

Vaxjo win it with a goal time at 64:25 from Erik Josefsson on the breakaway!

Goal for Vaxjo? We're going upstairs but the replays seem to say it was!

Period two done in Fribourg, it's 2-2 between the hosts and Kalpa.

Sparta continue to lead by two on aggregate over HV71 in the third period.

OT has started in Vaxjo... it's tense!

    Heading OT

5-5 in Vaxjo on aggregate after tonight's three periods. We will play sudden-death.

Last couple of minutes in Vaxjo, are we going the distance?

    GOAL!

Two bigs ones – Rosen for Vaxjo, and Jokinen for KalPa as both teams tis it up on aggregate.

Just over six minutes to go in Vaxjo, Lakers still need a goal against SaiPa to force OT.

Fribourg are back ahead of KalPa in that really tight game which in the middle period; while the disaster period for HV71 has come to an end.

    GOAL!

Ok this is crazy... that's 4-0 for Sparta and they now lead on aggregate 6-4. HV71 unsurprisingly have called a timeout.

    GOAL!

WOAAAAAAH – Sparta Prague have scored again and now lead on aggregate and 3-0 on the night!

    GOAL!

TOTAL drama in Jonkoping, Sparta Prague are level on aggregate at 4-4!

So it's all square between Fribourg and KalPa after one period; and in Vaxjo the teams are level on the night but it means SaiPa lead on aggregate by a goal.

Frolunda meanwhile are two up on Berlin, that's 9-1 on aggregate.

    DONE DEAL!

Bern hold on, and go through 6-5 on aggregate!

A late goal for JYP, Pihlman with the tip, and they have 20s to find a goal and force OT.

Kalpa are level in Fribourg btw, while Bern have gone two ahead on aggregate thanks to a gift from JYP goalie Tuokkola.

    DONE DEAL!

IFK can't find the goal, and Linkoping advance 2-1 on aggregate!

1:20 to go in Helsinki, IFK have the goalie out and need to score or they're out.

The evening's final game has also started, Berlin needing five goals to force OT in Gothenburg against Frolunda.

SaiPa are back to 2-2 in Vaxjo... they had trailed 2-1 after a bad start to the period, but are back in front on aggregate now.

    GOAL!

Now here's an interesting one – Lukas Pech scores for Sparta, and they are now just one behind HV71 on aggregate with 31s left on the opening period.

And over in Fribourg, it's the Dragons that take the lead over KalPa!

    GOAL!

We are level on aggregate in Vaxjo, the Lakers tie things up in period two.

JYP have pulled this back to just one on aggregate now two, 2-2 on the night with 11:34 to play.

    GOAL!

Captain Hytonen's one-timer gets JYP on the board; 5-3 on aggregate.

    GOAL!

Vaxjo on the board at home to SaiPa to level the game on the night. Still trail by one on aggregate – Robert Rosen early in period two.

Sparta Prague have had a couple of early chances up in Jonkoping where they trail HV71 4-2 on aggregate. No goals there yet so far.

Fribourg and KalPa are now playing – another one where we can ignore last week's game as they are level on aggregate.

    GOAL!

Ryan Lasch puts Bern two up in Finland, 5-2 now on aggregate... is that enough to put them through?

Period three now in session in Jyvaskyla and Helsinki. In both cases the home team trails – JYP need two, HIFK just the one.

Under way in Jonkoping as Sparta look to make up two goals on HV71.

Period one is done in Vaxjo now with SaiPa leading, despite having been outshot 18-7 by the Lakers.

In between that Czech drama, we've had a goal in Vaxjo – and SaiPa have got it through TOMI LEIVO to lead 4-2 on aggregate now.

    DONE DEAL!

Vitkovice have won it in OT, and eliminate Liberec!

    End of period 2

    JYP 0-1 Bern (2-4)
    IFK Helsinki 0-1 Linkoping (1-2)

They'll play OT in Ostrava, Vitkovice win 2-1 on the night meaning it's 2-2 on aggregate.

    GOAL!

NO WAY! Liberec have tied things up with the extra attacker out!

Big finish in Ostrava – Liberec have the goal out out and need to score not stay alive!

Inside the last 10 minutes in Ostrava... Liberec still need a goal.

Underway now in Vaxjo, with the Lakers hosting SaiPa 3-2 on aggregate from last week.

    GOAL!

Vitkovice have turned this matchup on its head! ROMAN SZTURC puts the hosts 2-1 on aggregate, 15 minutes left to play.

Period three underway in Ostrava, Vitkovice and Liberec tied at one each on aggregate. Drama to follow?

    End of first period

    JYP 0-1 Bern (2-4)
    HIFK 0-1 Linkoping (1-2)

Bern go 0/3 on the PP... while they lead by two on aggregate, you have to wonder if that might come back to bite them.

    GOAL!

Deadlock broken in Helsinki, and it's Linkoping who take the lead over IFK. Garrett Roe gets it – forget the aggregate scoring in this game, it's winner takes all tonight.

How is this possible?! 100 minutes of hockey between Vitkovice & Liberec, and only two goals scored. Heading into a HUGE third period there.

Bern now 0/2 on the PP in Jyvaskyla, but they continue to lead by two on aggregate.

Over in Helsinki, Linkoping have made the better start but no goals yet for either them or IFK.

    GOAL!

What a start for Bern in Jyvaskyla... fantastic forecheck by the visitors, and RANDEGGER shoots through the 5-hole to put them two up on aggregate now.

Play back under way in Vitkovice, as we start with two new games:

    JYP vs. SC Bern (2-3)
    IFK Helsinki vs. Linkoping (1-1)

Two more games coming up for you in 15 minutes as well, so don't go anywhere.

That's all she wrote in period one then, Vitkovice lead tonight to be tied at 1-1 on aggregate.

Again it's tight between Vitkovice and Liberec – although you get the feeling that opening goal has made both teams a bit more cautious... don't want to be out of it early.

    GOAL!

Liberec on the PP – but it's Vitkovice who go 1-0 up on the night with a shorthanded marker! Outrageous really – two goals in this series in 65 minutes of hockey, both SH!

Couple of half-chances at both ends but nothing big yet...

Off we go then, let today's action begin!

So we're 15 minutes away from the first game, which is Vitkovice vs. Liberec. The White Tigers lead 1-0 from the game last week thanks to a goal five minutes from the end.

Remember that you can let us know your thoughts throughout the evening on #CHL

So here we are, the return legs of the Round of 16 already... tonight another seven teams will leave the competition – with ZSC & Lugano playing tomorrow.
