ZSC Lions host HC Lugano in the last Round of 16 matchup of this season's CHL. Last week saw ZSC take a 2-0 lead, which the would go on to blow – meaning that Lugano head to Zurich wit a one-goal advantage after their 3-2 home win.

"We lost the game in the second period last week, which didn't give us a chance to win. We weren't happy, but Lugano are a good team and we need to play smater and on our own ice to do everything we can to go through," reflected ZSC Head Coach Hans Wallson. "If we play like we did in the opening 20 miuntes last week, we'll have a good chance. We are strong at home, and it's only a one-goal game."

"We start with a one-goal advantage, but that means nothing. ZSC are a very good team, strong at home, and we know that tomorrow they'll bring their A-game so we need to do the same and play a full 60 minute game," said Veteran Lugano defender Steve Hirschi. "Even if we concede a goal, we have to continue to stick to our game plan; focusing on the next shift, as we saw in the first game in Lugano that we have a chance to come back even after falling behind. The same applies if we take a lead, we must play with a lot of discipline."
