Canada had a tough game with Greece, needing a shootout to beat them 4-3, while Finland was in tough against the two-time defending champions from Slovakia, losing 3-1. After this game, all five teams in the group will have played 2 games.

    Slovakia is first in the group with 6 points, followed by India with 3. Canada is currently third place in the group with 2 points, but they can leap-frog India with a win. Finland is the only team in the group that has yet to earn a point, but with a regulation win they could move as high as a second-place tie with India.
