    On the third day, the Ball Hockey World Championship in Pardubice starts for women as well. First of all we will watch the game between the United States and Italy.

    Team USA is considered to be in the top four, but never managed to get the medal. In fact, at all five tournaments so far they finished fourth! Italy is on its third tournament in history, from the first two they got the sixth place.

    The Americans were in serious problems when Alicia Furletti Blomberg opened the score after 32 minutes of play. They were the better team today, but Italy played really devotedly all the game and had great Nicole Paniccia in the net.

    Finally, Team USA tied it in the power-play and thanks to Steadman and Simpson grabbed the victory in the shootout. They take first two points and Italy one.
