		Welcome. Game starts at 15:00.
		The World Championship in Pardubice starts for Women as well. Slovakia will take on Canada on Day 1 of the tournament, so far the only champions in history of the Womens' Worlds. Canada has two back-to-back gold medals and four in total. Slovakia won the cup once, in 2011 on home soil in Bratislava.

	13:25	Kochanova kicks the ball into the offensive zone, but there are Canadians ready to take over it.
	14:49	Tinkler showed her skills and almost surprised the opponent. She dangled through two or three players in the zone and managed to finish her solo with a backhanded shot. It went high or Tomcikova blocked it away. One or another, the Slovaks resisted once again.

		We've seen an interesting first period with a lot of action, but unfortunately no goals. The Canadians dominated most of it and had some proper chances, but lacks the accuracy to beat Tomcikova. Next period starts at 15:31 CET.

	15:53	It looked like Vargova could have gone alone, but she lacked speed and the Canadians got to her.
	16:22	Goal for Team Slovakia! Now, DIANA VARGOVA was completely alone on the blue line and had plenty of time to figure out how to finish her rush. She went for a deke into backhand and put it past Girouard – 1-0! Assisted by Petra Pravlikova.

	18:48	Goal for Team Slovakia! It's 2-0! The Slovaks took advantage of their power play and added another goal. Frühauf put a shot on net, Girouard kept it on crease with her pad, but there was VIKTORIA IHNATOVA to finish it. Assisted by Iveta Frühauf and Petra Jurcova.

	20:05	Hard shot by Tulk took a deflection down the road, but Tomcikova managed to stop it anyway. Great performance by the Slovak goalie so far.
	21:49	Goal for Team Canada! Canada pulls one down. JAMIE LEE RATTRAY broke away on the right wing side, she went around the defender and Tomickova with a nice deke to finish into an open net. Great hands – 2-1. No assist.

	24:19	Jurcova was alone in front of goal, but Girouard poked it away from her. Great save.

	25:06	The Canadians are at full strength and starts their first power play of the game.

	26:32	The Slovaks chose a bad time to make a shift and let the Canadians into a 3-on-1 situation. It was Rattray to finish the attack in the end, but Tomcikova managed to keep the ball on crease until one of her teammates shoveled it below her for a whistle.
	27:18	As the Slovaks are at full strength, the game moved in front of Girouard again.

	28:00	Another great save by Tomcikova. This time with a blocker on Drake.
	28:38	Now Tomcikova couldn't hold on Tinkler's shot and Traversa had a wide open net for a tap-in. However, she missed with a backhand.
	29:42	The Slovaks hold the ball and count the clock down.

		Slovakia managed to score early in the second period with Vargova's solo rush and took it from there. Ihnatova quickly added the second tally from a power play for 2-0 lead. Canada answered with Rattray's beautiful solo goal, but couldn't make it even for now. Next period starts at 16:03 CET.

	31:20	Great shot by Rattray, but Tomcikova had eyes on it the whole time.
	31:38	The Slovaks have hard time usually when Rattray and Kurio are on the floor. These two made most of the buzz in front of Tomcikova so far.
