		This is the third game of both of these teams in Group A2. Neither has a point yet, so at least one of these teams will get off the schneid this game. In their first two games, Italy lost 12-0 to the Czech Republic and 6-3 to Switzerland -- a game they led 3-0. In their first two games, Portugal lost 3-1 to the USA and 5-3 to Switzerland -- a game they also led 3-0.

		Trailing 2-0, Italy put on good pressure the first half of that second period and if they'd managed to score, they would have been right back in the game. Justin Cruz was solid in the Portuguese goal, however. Two late Portuguese goals have essentially put this one away. 3rd period begins at 20:14 CEST.
