Slovakia played great at the beginning of this championship. But then some games were not good for them. For example against team USA in regular women's group. And probably the worst memories they will have for semi-finals against team Czech Republic. Home team won in federal derby 2:0 and went to the final again. Are Slovaks gonna take a bronze medal and celebrate in the end?

TEAM CANADA

Probably the biggest surprise of women’s group at this Ball Hockey Championship in Pardubice. Team Canada won gold medals in Zug (Switzerland) two years ago and they were the greatest favorites again. But for the first team in ball hockey champioships history, Canada will not play in final and will not get gold or silver medals. Although Canadians lost just one game in regular group, in semi-finals they were not able to beat rival from United States of America. Canada had a lead 1:0 and also 2:1 during this important game, but in the end lost 2:3 when Rebecca Dobson from USA scored in the last minute of the match. So Canada wants get at least bronze medals in Pardubice.
