JYP will get a "wildcard" 2nd place ticket, if they win their match tonight, 13 points will be enough to be one of the best 5 2nd place teams.
Chances for HV71 aren´t really high, but it´s hockey, so everything can happen.
1. Red Bull Salzburg 12p
2. JYP Jyvaskyla 10p
3. HV71 Jonkoping 7p
4. Kloten Flyers 1p
This evening Red Bull Salzburg needs only one point in their home game against the Kloten Flyers to get 1st place and qualify for the last 16 teams in the Champions Hockey League. Salzburg have lost their last two league games, but still hold first place in the EBEL and they will play at almost full strength except for Andreas Kristler, who is out long-term.
Kloten came back from a 2-0 deficit to win their most recent Swiss league game 3-2, so they surely have a strong character team, although they have no chance at all to advance in the CHL, but they hope to win at least once before the end of the competition.
