Hamburg Freezers
6:0 (1:0, 5:0, 0:0)
Nottingham Panthers
Tuesday 07.10.2014, 19:30 • O2 World Hamburg • Champions League

That's all from here! Thanks for joining us tonight! (22:05:15)

Both teams met in the middle of the ice and captain Christoph Schubert thanked Nottingham's fans for coming over to Hamburg for the game.

The Freezers will now head back out onto the ice.

Things are wrapping up here and all in all, we saw a Freezers team that was able to continue its upwards trend. On paper, they have the talent and that was finally turned into a tangible result tonight.

'Just can't get enough' continues to be sung by the Nottingham followers.

Fans continue to cheer and hang out together though. Definitely a nice thing to see, as both teams shared a fairly harsh fate against both Lukko Rauma and Lulea in group play.

And it's over here in Hamburg. An injury-riddled Nottingham team just seemed to have lost its wind in the second period, but looked strong again in the third. Still, too little too late.

    60:00
    Game over.

    59:48
The Freezers continue to take shots, having added another six to their shot count in the past 30 seconds.

    58:38
    5-on-5 play continues.

    58:38
Both Cabana and Jacina are getting 2+2+10.

    58:38
Seems the combatants will naturally head to the locker room and are being giving a good round of cheers on the way.

    58:38
Fans everywhere are standing. Chorus chants of Ole, Ole, Ole, Hamburg Freezers are coming one after another.

    58:38
Music is playing as an NHL-style one-on-one fight breaks out between Cabana and Jacina. Both will head to the penalty box.

    58:05
We've entered the last two minutes of this game. Fans on both sides continue to cheer verociously. A singing festival is going on here.

    56:35
Excellent give-and-go opportunity for the Freezers sees a shot get blasted over the net. Came on the heels of another Schubert slapshot that went over the net as well.

    56:12
Looking a lot like pond hockey at this point.
