    I can’t say there wasn’t any effort on our side, but we aren’t able to score. We can’t win without scoring goals, so we surely can’t be satisfied. Of course, this was just the first half and the second one is going to take place in Linkoping now. It might be better for us to play away at the moment, because we aren’t really successful at home.
     
    Magnus Hävelid (Assistant coach of Linköping HC):
    We knew we must play a really good away game to beat Sparta. We had a lot of preparation before the match a talked to the team about how we can do better especially in the defense. I think we made a good job. We allowed just one goal and scored two. It was a tight game and good test for our team as it was 2-1 in the third. But it was just the first half. The game continues next week in Linkoping. We know we must prepare, because we aren’t done yet.
     
    The game is over. Linkoping scored a second one early in the third which became the game winning goal in the end. Sparta tried to come back, but Hogberg in the Swedish goal didn't let them. The White Lions are leading the series 2-1 after the first game. Both teams are going to meet one more time – next Tuesday this time in Linköping.
