Red Bull Salzburg is great team, but wasn't strong enough this evening. They lost their second straight game in CHL.
HV71 will play their next game on Saturday August 29th against Sönderjyske Vojens. The game will be played in Kinnarps Arena and I will be back then.
Thank you for tonight and have a great evening. (21:15:51)
SIMON ÖNERUD gives his HV71 4-1 by a quick shot. Assisted by: Anton Bengtsson.
HV71 scores on a one-timer by TEEMU LAINE in power play. Assisted by: Chris Campoli.
ERIK CHRISTENSEN scores a beauty as he puts up a great individual number. Assisted by: Martin Thörnberg, Kristoffer Berglund.
KRISTOFFER BERGLUND scores after hitting two Salzburg players. Unassisted.
Salzburg takes the lead after 42 seconds by JOHN HUGHES with a shot from the slot. Assisted by: Ryan Duncan.
This period had a lot better gameplay than the first one. HV71 took over the game halfway and Salzburg can only thank their goaliethat it's still scoreless. But the Austrian team wasn't that harmless. They created some good chances, but HV71 also have a great netminder in Erik Ersberg.
Hopefully we get to see some goals in third and I'll be back then.
Now we're taking a coffee break and charge our batterys for second period.

My name is Marcus and I will comment tonights game between HV71 and Red Bull Salzburg in Group C.
My name is Marcus and I'm going to be the reporter of tomorrows CHL-game between HV71 and Red Bull Salzburg.
These two teams have a history between them, as they met in the CHL Group stage last year. Salzburg won both games and therefore seems to have a little advantage.
For upcoming season, HV71 have made a great change in the organisation. New coaching staff, some new players and a new board of directors. How this have effected the team, we don't know yet. But what we do know, is that HV71 wants revenge from last years meetings.
HV71 have some great players who needs some extra attention. Martin Thörnberg, Simon Önerud, Ryan O' Byrne, Emil Johansson, Chris Campoli, Erik Christensen, Jere Karalahti, Chris Abbott and Oscar Sundh.
Red Bull Salzburg is playing their second game in CHL. Yesterday they lost against Sönderjyske Vojens 4-1 and this is something Salzburg isn't pleased with.
As they now are visiting HV71 and Kinnarps Arena, Jönköping, they will certainly go for a third straight win against HV71.
Players that need some extra attention in Salzburg are, Brett Sterling (former HV71), Kyle Beach (former HV71), Mattias Trattnig, Thomas Raffl and John Hughes.
The game will start at 19.00 Swedish time in Kinnarps Arena, Jönköping. I will be back then.
