		The 3rd period brought a slaughter to the Kometa netminder as they incurred 4 quick goals within several minutes which eventually broke their spirits. From the go, Trinec played strategically defensively and capitalized on mistakes by Brno to score several quick goals. 		Kometa was much more active in the 2nd period, constantly pushing Trinec on the forecheck and not letting them get past the neutral zone to give them any chances. Although there were several high-profile moments where penalties should have been called, mainly against Trinec, no calls were made and the crowd was definitely letting the refs know about it! Kliment managed to widen the score for Trinec in the 37th minute but Leos Cermak closed the gap on a beautiful play that originated from behind the Trinec net. We can expect a very aggressive 3rd period where Kometa will throw everything they have at Trinec in an effort to tie the game, if not turn it around, and Trinec of course will have to focus on their defensive game, even with the likes of Martin Ruzicka in their top line who will want to open the score even more for sure!

		An exciting first period that was packed full of emotion as several penalties were called on both sides and several more situations that were not called by the referees and evoked a lot of attention from the fans as well as players on both sides. Kometa was able to take the lead with a great goal by Leos Cermak several seconds after what could of been their first goal was dismissed by the video judge for a kicking movement. Trinec however did not fall under the huge pressure made by Kometa's offense and were able to turn the game around with two quick goals.

		Greetings from Brno where today HC Kometa Brno hosts HC Ocelari Trinec in the 42nd round of ELH. We can definitely look forward to what should be a very offensive-styled game as Kometa looks to gain a crucial 3 points in the race to the playoffs and Trinec is currently the most productive team in the league! So far this season between the two teams has turned out better for Kometa who were able to win their first match 4-2 in Trinec and then win the second game 5-3 at home. However, thanks to a hattrick by Martin Ruzicka, their third and last game against each other was won by Trinec 5-2 at home.
