    Deportivo only really found into the match during the last 20 minutes, especially because of the new men Nelson Oliveira and Salomao, while Sevilla goalkeeper Beto had several spectacular saves that kept his team the 3-1 lead. On the other side Sevilla or better said Jesús Navas had several good chances to even make it a higher win.

    For both teams a series continued. While Sevilla gained their fourth consecutive win at home that keeps their European ambitions alive, Deportivo lost their fifth match in a row and they stay at the bottom of the league table for at least another week.

    After the corner Jesús Navas was through alone but in the 1-on-1 with Aranzubia his shot was not really precise and just hit the body of the Depor goalkeeper.
