    In an exciting match Avangard Omsk came back with the equalizer with less than two minutes left in regulation. after a scoreless overtime, guest players Viktor Tikhonov and Patrick Thoresen scored in the shootout while Avangard's Alexander Bumagin and Alexander Frolov failed.

    While SKA added their 7th win in a row, Avangard have to fear for their first place in Eastern Conference.

    Viktor Tikhonov scored the game winning goal for SKA in the shootout to get his team the extrapoint.
     
    Alexander Frolov tries it with a deke but at the right post he is stopped by Ezhov and SKA win the shootout.
