		With a late goal by Patrick Thoresen the Norwegians made null and void the nice race to catch up by the Danes who had come back after a 0-2 deficit tonight when they played with a lot of heart! Shots on goal: Norway 8 (23) – Denmark 4 (29) Norway now have made a big step towards the quarterfinal qualification with now 6 points while Denmark stay without a single point and have to still fear to even stay in the top division.

	48:30	The game has totally changed after the Danis goal. First Norway defended very relaxed as the danger of a Danish strike was rather far away and now after they finally made it happen, the Norwegians get a little nervous.

	45:02	Goal for Team Denmark! Absolutely brilliant play by the Danes who now cut the Norwegian lead to the half! One of the Danes left the puck for STEFAN LASSEN whose powerful shot went into the corner past the completely surprised Haugen! The long awaited Danish goal! 		In a very even middle period Norway late extended their lead through a blue line strike by Anders Bastiansen. Shortly afterwards the puck was in the net also on the other side but the Danish goal could not been given due to a high stick. Bitter for them as this one would have finally rewarded them for their efforts. Shots on goal: Norway 11 (15) – Denmark 14 (25)

	39:35	Two minute team penalty against Denmark for having too many players on the ice – a short 4 on 4 will follow.
	39:15	The Danes don't look too shocked from the no-goal call and continue with a lot of pressure in front of the Norwegian net.
	38:03	Henrik Solberg (Norway) gets two minutes for holding an opponent.
	38:03	Suddenly Denmark with the huge opportunity to cut the deficit to the half but after the pass by Philip Larsen his team mate used a high stick when getting the puck over the goal line! After the videow review the referees decided no goal!
	37:35	The Danes now have to show a reaction and so they do with early pressing inside the Norwegian zone.
	37:05	Goal for Team Norway! After another series of passes ANDERS BASTIANSEN tried it from the blue line and his shot found the left bottom corner for the 2-0 lead for Norway!
	35:58	Norway with a very slow power play. After passing and passing and passing they finally had a shot on goal from the blue line but easy glove save for Galbraith. Denmark are back at full strength.

		Norway had a perfect start with a 2nd minute goal by Mats Trygg but failed to use the boost. Instead Denmark more and more took over the initiative with the help of several power plays. 		Just after the horn Marius Holtet tried to chase a Dane and received two "punches" into the face. Guess the players of both countries won't be come friend today anymore.

	16:44	Dangerous situation in front of Haugen when Fredrik Storm was about to get a rebound but the Norwegian goalie covered the puck up in time.

	08:15	After a harmless blue line shot was blocked by Haugen suddenly Norway's team captain Ole-Kristian Tollefsen attacked Mads Christensen from behind like he was out of his mind. Not much visible of "cold" Scandinavians.

	06:10	Norway takes a lot of time during their attacks. The Danish power play might not have been successful regarding goals but it took a lot of the speed out of the Norwegian game.

Denmark's Mikkel Boedker lost the puck on the left wing and then Mathis Olimb was away with a break away for Norway but was stopped by Galbraith in the Danish net who made a spectacular pad save! 		Both Norway and Denmark showed all their class during their opening games of the 2013 World Championship. While Norway beat newcomers Slovenia 3-1 in a must-win-game, the Danes lost only 1-3 against tournament favourites Canada after an early lead. Today's winner can make a big jump far away from relegation in the Helsinki group and towards a quarterfinal qualification. Norway might be slightly the favourites but who has more luck today, we'll see very soon.
