		Canada made a huge step towards the quarterfianls with a more than clear 7-1 win against completely helpless Norwegians who were simply over run by their opponents in the first game against a top team for them during this tournament. Shots on goal: Canada 13 (36) – Norway 4 (14)

	30:24	Goal for Team Norway! There is the consolation goal for the underdogs! KEN ANDRE OLIMB received the puck just in front of Dubynk and surprised him with a fast shot from short distance! Assisted by Anders Bastiansen.
	29:15	Great effort by Norway's team captain Patrick Thoresen who wants to motivate his team mates and jumps into several passes inside the Canadian third. When he finally had won the puck one of the Norwegian defenders let it slip over the blue line though and the attack was over...

The Canadians had a rather stoney start against outsiders Denmark (3-1) and surprise team Switzerland (2-3 SO). Today's underdogs Norway won against the two weakest teams of the group Slovenia (3-1) and Denmark (3-2). With a win today either side could improve their chances for the quarterfinals significantly.
