Although it was scored 5-on-3, what matters is they reduced the American lead to only a goal and it will be extremely interesting in the third period. The Americans played with two men down for full two minutes but they also managed to create some opportunities despite that.

France currently situated in the 5th position in the Group H with 2 wins and 2 losses, the most important win came when they beat Russia 2-1! It was amazing, nobody thought it was possible. The USA should be regarded a favorite in this match, although we've been proven France is capable of performing miracles on the ice. The USA currently in third place in their group with 9 points, their only loss came from Russia, 5-3.
