    Germany now are 5th in the Helsinki group with 7 points and have good chances to reach the quarterfinals with matches against USA and France left.

    The Latvians only have 3 points and are last in the group. They still play against France and Finland and have to fear relegation more than ever.

    In the end Germany played it very clever after scoring the 2-0 and defended relatively easily the result till the end thanks to a great performance by Rob Zepp who earned his second consecutive shutout.
