    After a thrilling finish to the game, Avangard manages to snatch a shootout win and acquire the extra point instead of getting all three after having a 3:0 lead. Alexei Badyukov scores the only one in the shootout and leads his team to glory.

    Ignat Zemchenko goes slowly from the right side and makes a turn to the left post, fires to the opposite direction, but Lassila records a left pad deflection.
     
    ALEXEI BADYUKOV scores coming from the middle and puts the puck between Stepanek's legs to give Avangard advantage.
     
    Vadim Berdnikov goes slowly on the right side but the shot is direct into the goalie.
     
    Alexander Perezhogin goes on the right side and fires in the upper right corner, but Stepanek deflects with the glove.
     
    Gleb Klimenko goes straight to the net and waits for a long time, to allow Lassila to make a pad save to the right side.
