		After a thrilling finish to the game, Avangard manages to snatch a shootout win and acquire the extra point instead of getting all three after having a 3:0 lead. Alexei Badyukov scores the only one in the shootout and leads his team to glory.

		Ignat Zemchenko goes slowly from the right side and makes a turn to the left post, fires to the opposite direction, but Lassila records a left pad deflection.

		Vadim Berdnikov goes slowly on the right side but the shot is direct into the goalie.

		Extraordinary offensive display in the last period by Severstal brings them a point and will go to overtime to fight for the second, and by any luck take it with them. Unbeliveable Avangard lost the lead after playing that good.

	59:41	Nikolai Bushuyev took the offense on the left wing and left the puck entering the circle for Linus Videll whose shot towards the upper right corner is a bit wide of the net.

		The second 20 minutes brought about some interesting hockey and display from both teams. Severstal finally got rid of the pressure and opened up, which eventually led to Avangard scoring another one, but also they were able to generate more offensive-wise. Ignat Zemchenko opens the scoring for Severstal, so in the last period, the battle until the last moment is guaranteed.

	39:47	Severstal get into the zone over the right wing and with a defenseman in front try to shoot, but it's too weak and easily deflected by Lassila with his right pad.

		After the first 20 minutes, Avangard left a better impression on the ice. Severstal couldn't organize much on the offense, while Avangard scored twice, sometimes being dangerous even on the penalty kill.

Denis Kulyash was coming from between the circle and the feed came just in time he reached the crease to put the puck in the net, while Stepanek couldn't retrieve to the side.
