    Barys played it very clever in the third period and defended their their lead easily to beat Avangard 5-2.

    The Kazakhs ended a 5-game home stint at the start of the season with their 4th win – they only lost against super power SKA St. Petersburg – and now they have 12 points! For Avangard it was another disappointing performance and they now received 11 (!) goals against in just 2 games!
