		Barys played it very clever in the third period and defended their their lead easily to beat Avangard 5-2. The Kazakhs ended a 5-game home stint at the start of the season with their 4th win – they only lost against super power SKA St. Petersburg – and now they have 12 points! For Avangard it was another disappointing performance and they now received 11 (!) goals against in just 2 games! Shots on goal: Barys 10 (35) – Avangard 8 (25)

		The guests from Omsk started strong into the second period and already used their first power play of the period for the equalizer. Just when they kept the game completely open and even had some major scoring opportunities the hosts came back with two break away goals to make it 3-1 after 40 minutes! 	36:23	Goal for Barys! Another break way leads to the next goal for the home team! TALGAT ZHAILAUOV received a long pass at the Avangard blue line and deked out Reizvikh to the right to score into the wide open net – 3-1 Barys! Assisted by Alexei Litvinenko.
	35:48	Reizvikh with a stick save against a distance shot by Rudenko, didn't want to risk anything.
	34:25	After a won face off by Baris Bochenski received the puck at the left circle and tried it with a fast shot that was stopped by Reizvikh! Just seconds before an Avangard defender had checked a Barys forward just in front of the net to avoid a major scoring opportunity!

After a beautiful long pass by Nigel Dawes from within the Barys third suddenly ROMAN STARCHENKO was through with a break away and left Reizvikh no chance with a flat shot through the five hole! 	26:25	Incredible! From just three metres distance Gavrilin hits the stick of a defender with the net wide open after Reivikh was out of position! A must score chance! And shortly afterwards Gratton was stopped with a shot from the left wing!
	25:31	Big save by Reizvikh against another short distance chance – this time by Josh Gratton – and the following Avangard counter over Alexander Frolov almost gives the guests the lead! The game is definately gaining heat!

Avangard earn the equalizer in power play after being the stronger team at the start of the middle period! Assisted by Dmitry Vorobyov.

Their 9 points in 4 games position them at the xx in the East . On the other side Avangard had more trouble than expected against SKA St. Petersburg (1-5), Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (5-2), Severstal Cherepovets (4-3 SO), Atlant Mytishchi (4-3) and Ak Bars Kazan (0-6).
