    Just before the end of the power play SKA restore their three-goal lead and make it 4-1! A powerful shot by DMITRY KALININ went in just below the crossbar! No chance to react for Lozhkin in the Metallurg net!

    Ilya Kovalchuk starts a beautiful solo within the neutral zone, dekes out the last defender and the goalie but can't get a shot on goal anymore due to a sharp angle. He then tries to go for the wrap-around but is stopped unfair by the goalie behind the net.

    2-on-2 rush by the hosts but Cervenka's shot from short distance only finds the gloves of the goalie. He better would have passed to Thoresen who had a wide open net in front of him.

    With two men more on the ice Metallurg started very aggressively into the third period and they were able to cut the deficit to two in power play! TUUKKA MANTYLA fired a hard shot from within the slot towards the right corner and SKA goalie Ezhov didn't look too lucky in this situation!

    In a completely one-sided middle period SKA needed long to get past guest goalie Lozhkin but in the end they were able to get a 3-0 lead after 40 minutes which leaves the game more or less decided. We'll see if Metallurg can make a big comeback!
