    Avangard Omsk showed a very convincing performance today and earned a deserved 5-1 win against Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod which in the end may be one or two goals too high but they worked hard for this success! For Avangard its their second win in a row after a month long negative streak and their fans are celebrating them enthusiastically.

    With now 15 points Avangard were able to cut the deficit towards the playoff spots to four points!

    In the very last second of the match the hosts make it even 5-1!!! ALEXANDER POPOV finished a fast 2-on-1 attack with a shot into the right corner from short distance! This was a beautiful one-two play!
