		Jeff Glass flies out of the tunnel and is readying the crease. Time for the National Anthems!

		We have the league's top ranked power play with Medvescak and penalty kill in Spartak. We also have two great goaltenders in Glass and Brust. Should be quite a matchup this evening.
	00:01	Game started.
		Murray beats Vandell on the faceoff and we are underway!
	01:30	Spartak controlling possession early on here. Svarny with a couple of good, hard checks, but no one being tested yet.
	02:25	We have a boarding call on Yunkov and Medvescak is going to test the league's best killing unit.
	04:06	Cheechoo sets up Vesce for a nice try coming from behind the net. It slides off the post and Spartak is still safe
	07:00	Goal for Medvescak Zagreb! Ryan works hard just skating fast in front of the net and slips a backhander low behind Glass.
	08:30	Glass coming way out of the net to poke away a puck being chased by a Medvescak and Spartak player. Breakaway averted!
	09:05	Vesce with a great chance there coming up the right side with speed. He lets one rip, but it goes wide right of Glass. There was an opening, but he could not put it in the right spot.
	11:05	Brust covers an innocent looking puck near his left post. Spartak trying to get something going here with an offensive zone faceoff.
	12:30	The Vesce-Ellison-Ryan line is back out and Glass covers up a puck rather than give these guys another run. Commercial break here and then a faceoff to the left of Glass.
	13:00	Martinovic pinches in on defense and switches with Thomas. They lose track of him and he gets a nice one-timer off from between the circles. Glass does what he does best and makes a good save.
	13:30	Cheechoo and Murley with a quick 2-on-1, but Yunkov blocks the pass with his stick sliding on backward on his belly. Good defensive play by #19 there.
	15:00	It is Ellison-Vesce-Ryan again causing problems all over the ice for Spartak. On the other end, a 2-on-1 chance was broken up by Pikkarainen. Brust had to stop a shot coming off his rebound, but he is playing strong.
	16:30	Both teams battling for a shot now. Action slowing down a bit here at the end of the first.
	18:00	Murley with a high shot off the glass that almost comes back for a Cheechoo opportunity in front. The defender sticks it away safely.
	20:00	1st period finished.
		Volkov working hard for a shot there at the end of the first, but the clock ran short. Period ends 1-0.
		Medvescak dominated the period with 11 shots on goal to 4 for Spartak. Spartak never threatened that period with a quality scoring chance. Spartak had one minor penalty and they were able to kill it off as they have all season.
	20:01	Start of 2nd period.
		We're having some internet connectivity issues here at Dom Sportova. Going to try to catch you up on the action.
	23:05	Goal for Spartak! Vandell gets a nice pass from Shpirko breaking toward Brust and just puts it under his blocker. Smart, straightforward shot beats Brust.
	25:30	Foster and Nesterov slashing sticks after a little after the play action. Brust covers the puck for a faceoff.
	26:00	Voronin gets in Brust's face and Brust bites back. A melee unfolds and Glumac goes in with Voronin. 4 on 4 time!
	26:34	4-on-3 now as Sergeev goes to the box. Medvescak on the power play.
	20:19	Sergeyev-slashing.
	28:00	5-on-4 here for 30 seconds. Spartak controlling with the line change.
	28:34	Spartak at full strength.
		From earlier, Medvescak had a power play at the beginning of the second period, but Spartak killed it. Back to the regular action! The call was Sereyev for slashing at 19:41 of the 2nd.
	30:17	Glass come up big. He gets peppered in front, but he is out of position. His team comes to his aide. Carle flies in for a chance, but it is blocked.
	30:39	Goal for Medvescak Zagreb! Cheechoo skates to the front of the net and turns just in time to see a Murley pass from one knee. he continues his tun and puts one past glass. That is a league leading 10 goals on the season for Cheechoo.
	32:00	Medvescak in control now after their 2nd goal. Nothing on Glass, but they are stopping any Spartak efforts the other way.
	33:30	Brust getting challenged by Anderson, but he sends it high into the net above him off the blocker. Seems Spartak scouted Brust's stick side and think it is a weakness to exploit.
	34:46	Glass covers and things are getting nasty between play now. Might have some penalties here from the refs. The refs have to take control before it gets out of hand.
	35:45	Foster goes into the box after crosschecking Krutov several times in the back while lying on the ice in front of the crease. Power play opportunity for Spartak.
	37:13	Huge shorthanded opportunity for Medvescak. Thomas makes the pass, but Glass flies across the net to make the save.
	37:49	Medvescak at full strength
	38:44	Pikkarainen makes a nice move after the defender goes down to block the shot. Glass covers and now Cheechoo in a shoving match.
	39:12	Ryan going to the penalty box for Medvescak and Spartak has another opportunity here to tie it with the extra skater.
	40:00	2nd period finished.
		Murray bats one out of the air for the final clear of the period. 1:12 remaining on the power play when we come back.
		Shots were 16 to 11 in favor of Medvescak that period. Each team had three minor penalties a piece.
		Glass is out of the tunnel for the third period. They have 1:12 on the power play to start.
	40:01	Start of 3rd period.
	41:13	Medvescak kills the penalty and has all five skaters back on the ice.
	42:30	Krutov sneaks behind the Medvescak defense and Brust plays him high and hard. The puck is poked away and Spartak misses a good opportunity there.
	43:35	Glumac runs over Glass and goes to the box for goalie interference. Sergeyev retaliates and we have some 4-on-4 action. Bad penalty by Glumac, worse penalty by Sergeyev.
	45:35	We are back to five on five action! Nothing much comes of the two minutes of open ice time.
	45:58	Ryan goes to the box to serve a too many men on the ice call. Spartak with the extra man.
	47:55	The Bears are perfect on the penalty kill stopping 4. They are at full strength.
	48:43	Medvescak complaining here and rightfully so. Glass dislodges the net on purpose, but the ref lets play continue. Murley puts the net back on and then Glass kicks it off again. No call. Play continues.
	50:15	A big battle between six player in the corner to the right of Brust. Medvescak wins it after a good 15 seconds, but ices the puck.
	51:24	Goal for Spartak! Quint pinches in and gets a nice one-timer with Brust out of position. Zherdev on the assist. That is Quint's 11th point on the year, putting him in 2nd place among defensemen.
	53:30	Mike Glumac with a beautiful play to beat his defender and get into Glass. Cannot get it through five hole and Glass holds on to stop play.
	55:00	Spartak catching their breath or playing defense. They look comfortable here taking this one to overtime. Defensive focus now for the team from Moscow.
	56:15	Vesce almost beats Glass under the legs. The keeper cannot find it and Thomas almost gets it in on the 2nd chance.
	58:00	Foster getting a big shot off on Glass, but he hods on. Otherwise, Medvescak is working hard here to get a goal and Spartak is sitting back a bit and making them dump and chase. Cheechoo getting a lot of work now to try and end this before extra time.
	59:18	Looks like we have a Spartak injury. It looked clean from our standpoint, no penalty expected here.
		Nesterov is helped off to the dressing room. He is walking on his own but appears to be in pain.
	60:00	3rd period finished.
		Cheechoo almost gets another at the end here. Thomas looking for him and they get one on Glass, but he is able to clear it out on time. We are going to overtime.
		Shots were 16-11 for Spartak that period. The extra work paid off as they were able to tie the game up
		Vesce and Yunkov kick it off at the center circle for the extra period.
	60:55	Bjorkstrand works hard to the net and draws a penalty. Tripping is the call on Vasilyev and Medvescak has a chance to end this here. They call a timeout to game plan.
	62:00	Cheechoo on the point with Foster in the 4-on-4 power play unit. Glass covers and Spartak clears after the next faceoff.
	62:42	Vesce, Murley and Foster all with chances there. Glass is letting the puck dangle in front of him. Credit to the defense.
	63:07	Spartak at full strength. Medvescak has another chance, but Glass bumps the goal off the post again. The reputation of the goal coming off the moorings at Dom Sportova is being played by Glass effectively.
	60:01	Overtime began.
	64:30	Good battles on both ends of the ice here trying to end this one. Not many chances, but you can feel the sense of urgency.
		Penalties it is!
	65:00	Overtime finished.
		Shots were 6-0 in favor of Medvescak in overtime. One penalty assessed to Spartak. Six penalties to five with more going to Spartak.
		Brust and Glass setting up now that the Zamboni has left the ice. We are about to begin.
		Bjorkstrand goes first for Medvescak.

		Glass stops Bjorkstrand who goes for a straight up shot.

		Wandell with a shot and a miss. Brust stops it

		Glass knock it down and away.
		Wandell again.
		He beats Brust!
		Vesce to keep it alive.
		Spartak wins it with the Wandell goal on Brust,

		With this loss, Medvescak ends their win streak at 8 games.
