    The Czech Republic win the Channel One Cup with a 2-1 victory over the hosts Russia! All the main action came in the third period. After Alexander Radulov had opened the scoring with a penalty shot, the Czechs woke up, and scored two quick unanswered goals that Russia just couldn't recover from.
