    That turned into a long encounter, and despite being behind twice in the game Atlant manage to get an important win in Khabarovsk! They dominated for long periods, but fell behind to two goals from Alexander Yunkov. Janne Niskala and Maxim Velikov took the game to a shootout with long range slappers, where Maxim Mayorov and Stanislav Galimov stole the two points for the visitors.     Both teams have won only two of their last six games coming in to today. The first game between these two sides in Mytishchi was won by Atlant 2-1 after penalty shots, so we should be in for quite a close affair today.
     
    Atlant really could do with winning this match to keep up the pressure on 8th placed Lokomotiv in the Western Conference, as they bid to make a late challenge to make the playoffs. Amur's hopes of reaching the playoffs are most probably already gone, as they lay in 13th place of the Eastern Conference and are 16 points off 8th place.
