Jiri Novotny got Lev's second with a great deflection in front of Sokhatsky, and from then on out, Salavat had the better chances. Pihlstrom missed a breakaway, Kaigorodov missed an absolute gimme on the backdoor, while Koltsov rang the pipes with a rocket of a slapshot.
