		It's going to be another hard fought game between two playoff contending teams, as Salavat are 4th in the East and Lev currently sit 6th in the East
		Salavat Yulaev are in the midst of a hot streak, winning their last four games, which has included victories against powerhouses SKA St. Petersburg and CSKA Moscow. Lev are looking to bounce back following a 4-2 defeat against Metallurg Magnitogorsk on Sunday
		Vladimir Sokhatsky gets the start for Salavat Yulaev, who rest Andrei Vasilevski, while Atte Engren gets his first start in four games

	10:05	Great work by Cingel to gain the zone. He drop passes the puck to Repik who fires from the right wing circle but Sokhatsky makes the save
	10:35	Speculative Koltsov shot from the left point is gloved easily by Engren
	11:11	Ullstrom fires on the turn from long range but Sokhatsky makes another save.
	12:08	Babchuk set up Schitov at the point who looked like he was about to lower the boom but he loses the handle. Salavat Yulaev retain possession and Zaborsky tries to sneak one past Engren but the Finnish netminder saves and freezes the puck.

	20:40	Novotny powers through the centre of the zone but shoots just high under pressure

	25:17	The puck is loose in the crease and it's a long wait for the referee to whistle up the play. Eventually Engren gets a hold of the puck. Dangerous times after Mirnov tried to bury it at the near post

	26:40	Good chance for Ridderwall as the penalty expires. He moves through the Salavat Yulaev defence but Sokhatsky saves his backhand attempt
	27:17	Goal for Lev! They've looked the more likely team to get the next goal, and it's JIRI NOVTONY, celebrating his nomination to the Czech Olympic roster to gets the goal. David Ullstrom's shot looked to take a deflection from the Lev captain in front of goal which took it past Sokhatsky.
	28:46	Sokhatsky gloves the puck on a shot from the left. Salavat Yulaev went close thirty seconds earlier, but a great glove save by Engren denied Khlystov

		The second period was a damp squib compared to the first in all honesty. Jiri Novotny got Lev's second with a great deflection in front of Sokhatsky, and from then on out, Salavat had the better chances. Pihlstrom missed a breakaway, Kaigorodov missed an absolute gimme on the backdoor, while Koltsov rang the pipes with a rocket of a slapshot. Shots on goal: Salavat Yulaev 19 (11, 8) Lev 17 (12, 5).
