    That's the final buzzer and it's a comfortable 4-1 victory for Avangard Omsk! They were never in a any danger today, Spartak tried their best but couldn't offer any real resistance. Alexander Perezhogin in the first couple of minutes opened up the scoring before Stefan Ruzicka made it two. We had to wait until the third period for more goals when Perezhogin got his second, Igor Volkov got a Spartak goal for pride before Sergey Kostitsyn iced it.
